Feelings on anthro ponies?

How do you feel about anthro? In case you don't know, anthro is making ponies bipedal and giving then hands and/or feet.

I like them except when people give them human feet, it's just really jarring, at that point they might as well just humanize them

I don't mind at all. That's probably because I'm a furry though. There is some anthro art that's done really well.

I wouldn't want it to replace our regular ponies, of course, but I love anthro characters! I tend to think of it as an AU where everyone's anthro.

I don't mind semi-anthro, standing on two legs at all.  As long as there are still hooves of course.

Think of it this way: anthro is really just another variation of fan art in the whole mix of fan art. Nothing wrong with variation in art, right?

I like anthro ponies with more cartoony proportions that keep them somewhat in line with what the ponies are. I usually give them doll-like or Sonic-like proportions and make them appear to be the same height as the ponies in the show. I rarely ever go for the ones that are too humanoid. I'd like them to keep more of those features.

This one (Golden by jeniak) is one of my all-time favorites and did influence the Rainbow Dash one I did. It has just under 5400 favorites on dA and over 60000 views. Absolutely adore it.
