As time passed, Kyubi began to explore the enclosure. If she was going to spend the rest of her life here, then she might as well learn the lay of the land. She found a forest to the west of the lake and a region of hills to the north of that. The bat pony figured that there would have to be a limit to the size of the area of land for the enclosure, but didn't know where it stopped or started. It was like a maze that she couldn't escape.

 

The bat pony was in the forest when she had her first encounter with the black stallion after she had been integrated into the herd. The stallion didn't do much at the start. He walked around her, sniffing certain areas of her body .

 

While this happened, Kyubi simply stood and watched him, flicking her tail to keep bugs away. When he began to push her back to the rest of the herd, she followed without protest, like she was a child who had been scolded for going somewhere they shouldn't have.

After a few minutes, a few of the smaller reptiles began to approach Gale. The dragoness would growl at them to make them back off, but they weren't phased at all. They began to crowd onto the dragoness, eventually weighing her down. Gale didn't know how to react, but tried not to think about it that much. She then closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Taylor stopped rubbing his wing and said,

"Think about it this way, would you ask us in here where we control the whole thing and would you come with us if we told you that we were going to take blood and tissue sample, and poke around you?"

The guard came back to see the stallion herd Kyubi back to the herd

The guard noticed Gale was asleep and decided to leave, He placed the clipboard on the wall and left

As Gake slept, she dreamed of her life back in Equestria, but something was different. It didn't really seem like home anymore, rather a strange world parallel to the one she was in now. The dream cut to darkness and showed her current state, before she abruptly woke to see nothing had changed, except for the fact that she now had almost every small reptile. sleeping against her body or under her wings. The dragoness then gave a slight smile before standing and moving around the enclosure. if anything, it would help calm her nerves.

After Kyubi was back in the center of the herd, she noticed that she was becoming distracted by minor things. She assumed that it was because she was in a new environment, but she still felt weird, like she belonged here, yet didn't at the same time.

 

Either way, after their encounter in the woods, the black stallion had started to develop an interest in Kyubi, spending more time around her while he tended to the needs of the herd, watching her to make sure she didn't go to far into another herds territory, and also being somewhat protective of her when other stallions were near. The bat pony herself had noticed this,but didn't pay that much attention to it. She assumed it was just instinct.

Cresent rolled his eyes sensing this will be harder to get more info out of this one then usual, ok he wasn't usually this violent. What else could he do? Still there were many wholes that needed to be filled.

 

"something tells me your leader keeps things under wraps where ever this is." The bat pony said sounding annoyed.

 

"the first one I got few answers from, didn't it say I was supposed to be dead, why should I trust your not going to kill me" Cresent stood back ready for an launch from this creature of some sort.

"You have a good point Taylor, I seriously doubt either of those would work. But still, your race could have introduced themselves to mine and we could have told you about us, and vice versa. But if I get back to Equestria and tell Celestia about this, I can't be responsible for what she'll do about it. This whole thing here could start an interspecies war, and eventually one side would wind up going down the path of genocide. The guard noticed that the stallion was being protective and wrote that down.

They walked into a room that had five circles in it and a bunch of equipment. The scientist said as he turned around,

"Kill you with what, could you stand on the circle and on your hind legs with everything in the circle?"

"How would someone in charge notice a few are missing and why would you talk to her about this?"

As Gale walked around the room she was in, the dragoness caught the attention of another dragon that had been brought to the facility months ago. He hadn't seen another of his own kind in that time and had long since given into instinct. As soon as she entered the section that he had marked off as his territory, the dragon stood and approached her.

Gale noticed the dragon heading towards her, and she honestly wasn't expecting see another of her kind in this world. As he approached her, the dragoness simply watched him in order to make sure that he wasn't a threat. Gale also noticed a warmth spread through her body, and she wasn't sure what to think of it.

Orion gave a low growl when he was close enough to Gale. He then began to walk around her, looking over her body and gently nudged the dragoness in several areas of her body to see her reaction. He was curious about her and knew that the other reptiles wouldn't approach them while they were in his territory.

Kyubi eventually found a way out of the herd and headed towards the lake to drink. She wasn't something that needed protecting, the other other horses were stubborn to say the least. "I guess they know that I'm blind and don't want me getting hurt." She thought to herself. The bat pony then looked around via echolocation while her head was lowered, making sure that none of the other horses were close.

"Oh, sorry about that. I meant if I ever get out of here. And I would have all the reason to tell Celestia, I mean, we haven't exactly been given the 5 star treatment if you know what I mean. And if you're wondering who exactly Celestia is, she's the Princess of The Sun and co leader of Equestria with her sister Luna. Luna's in charge of the moon. They each raise the sun and lower the sun and moon every morning and night. Though, there have been some arguments from Luna over the years on that, but let's leave that for another day."

"You been killing us, so working here hasn't been fun. A creature moving the sun and moon. that's impossible, you know how much power it would take to do that and have they ever stopped the process to show that they can?"

Kyubi looked at the guard and after a few seconds, nodded. "Ok." She said, her body now under her control rather than instinct. She had a slight headache, but it was nothing major. The bat pony then waited for the guard to take her where she was meant to be next.

Gale gave a blush as the dragon smelled her, and felt her body relax as he nudged her. The dragoness then gave a content purr. It seemed like he was just as curious about her and she was of him. She still didn't know if he was from her world or not, so it would be best to communicate in a language only they understood. Gale then began to move, curious to see what he would do.

Orion noticed Gale moving away and gave her left hind heel a gentle nip to stop the dragoness and make her go further into his part of the enclosure. This sort of herding behavior was common in some dragons, and he hadn't seen any since his capture. For now, he was testing to see how she would react.

"What's this place that you're from like, do they have anything that could be dangerous to us?"

The guard watched what was going on, then he wrote it down and went to get some food.

"You dare accuse our leaders of being fakes? If you had seen some of the amazing feats of magic they have accomplished together, you'd be singing a different tune. I'll admit though, they have been bested by some opponents before, but the ponies wielding the Elements of Harmony put a stop to them." Then, after a moment of thought, "You're right about one thing though, I have killed quite a few guards. But it was in self defense for the most part. And if you nosy humans had just minded your own business, none of this ever would have happened."

Gale wasnt expecting the dragon to bite her heel and growled in impatience. The dragoness then slapped him with her tail, before going a different way than the one he intended for her. She held her head high as she walked past the dragon, and was laughing on the inside.

Kyubi thought for a moment before answering the guard's question. "The land I came from is peaceful for the most part. As for anything there being a threat to your world, let me put it this way. Anything that could pose a threat to you, is probably already taken care of." She said, memories coming back and instinct taking a backseat to rational thought. The bat pony then remembered the necklace tha was taken from her and glanced at the guard. "That being said, you people took a necklace from me. What have you done with it?"

Orion gave a frustrated growl as Gale slapped him and bit her tail, before pulling her back and crawling on top of her. He then spread out his body as much as possible in an attempt to stop her from moving.

Lupus thought about what Taylor had said for a moment and said, "I can understand you skepticism on this, but she's been around for more than a thousand years, probably much longer. Her magic is powerful and ancient, kinda like the smell of nicely aged cheese. But don't tell Celestia I said that, or I'd be in some big trouble."

Gale yelped in surprise and wasn't expecting the dragon to be so forceful with her. The dragoness then moved so that she would roll onto her back in an attempt to dislodge the dragon. She could feel pain from where the dragon had bit her and his claws had dug into her back. She tried her best to ignore it, though.

Orion noticed Gale's movement and jumped as soon as she flipped over. The dragon then landed on top of Gale and put his head next to her own. "We're being watched. I know a place where we can talk in private." He growled in a language that only they could understand.

Gale's eyes widened as the dragon spoke to her and lightly tapped on the ground with her tail, a hidden acknowledgment that she knew what he was talking about. She wanted to know about the dragon and figured that now would be the best time. Whoever was watching them now would be a problem, though. The dragoness also didn't know how to take the fact that she had lost their little fight.
