Your opinion- facial hair on OCs

What is your opinion on facial hair for OCs? Does your OC have facial hair? If so, what style (full beard, goatee, mustache)?

My OC doesn't have facial hair per se, but he does have a different colored muzzle to represent facial hair. It just looks more natural to me than having actual facial hair.

*I* have a good deal of facial hair, but my OCs do not.  If I ever get around to really doing the whole ponysona thing, they won't have facial hair either.  *Shrugs.*

My characters don't, but I see nothing wrong with it.  I thought about giving mine a goatee, but didn't.  Honestly, characters on the show have facial hair, so I just consider it to be another potential design choice.

It's just like a human being having facial hair; it's just a personal sense of style. Facial hair on a pony is cool too because it's very cartoony. No real pony would have a beard or mustache so it's fun to toonify them with it, like putting clothes or glasses on an animal. In general, whatever works, go ahead with.

Facial hair is like a Japanese blowfish. It can be done well, like sunburst, but it's easy to mess up. I don't need to provide an example of bad facial hair OCs, they're likely already ingrained in your head.
