How do you all feel about Octavia?

She gets used when it fits her character, but I wouldn't be opposed to her having another line of spoken dialog if it fits the situation (I would rather it be organic vs. fan service since she now has a distinct personality).

 

Honestly I think her allure was stronger in the earlier years than it currently is though.

Octavia is my favorite background pony! She has one of the prettiest designs of the show. I'd also love to see her in future episodes too.

I would love to see Octavia in more episodes; maybe even have an entire episode dedicated to classical music in the Pony world with puns off of the names of famous composers. :3 Maybe she could play J.S. Broncho's Cello Suites, or maybe a concerto by Hay-dn or Vi-foal-di XD Orchestra drama based shows can be quite entertaining too (i.e. "Nodame Cantabile"); it would be amazing to see an episode like that!

She has a decent design and all, but as a background character I can't say that she has an interesting personality or even one at all to be honest.

Though I do like the character, getting a focus episode would be very interesting and a vacation from the usual, though the usual is fine too.

I personally feel that the Octavia doesn't have enough of a personality to carry an episode. I think the only way an Octavia episode could be interesting is if it had more of a focus on her relationships with other characters, especially Vinyl Scratch, or if Vinyl just took over the episode altogether. Even the fandom hasn't really given her much of a character other than just the typical straight-man character, which is a role already filled to an extent by several main and minor characters.

She's one of first ponies before I knew all these bronies and ponies things, did thought Octavia was room mates with Vinyl but it just fan-made stuffs that before Silce of Life episode. But Since I become a brony started got into her and love her more when watching Silce of Life episode.

I always really liked her design and color pallet and would love to see her utilized in the show, but I don't want to see her used only for fan service. I liked her better in the early years when it was a treat that she would show up. I don't know. I'm conflicted.
