Now that that is out of my system.

 

It appears that Fox has decided that after the wild success and reception that Fan4stic received (It got an entire 9% on rotten tomatoes. That's almost a 10 right guys?) They've decided that they want to continue on down this yellow brick road down to a sequel. 

 

Oh and the sequel to Fan4stic is now going to be happier and brighter, which wont contrast at ALL with the bleak and dark tones that their first movie presented at all. It won't be jarring at all to accept that both these movies happened in the same universe, right? 

 

The real reason why they are doing this obviously is so they can keep their stranglehold on fantastic four and squeeze every last cent they can out of it even though each and every movie of this team they've released has yet to receive an even remotely positive rating with fans and critics, especially with the one they are actually making the sequel too. 

 

Just...give Fantastic 4 back to Marvel Fox, you have no effing clue what you are doing anyway. Just...just stop.

Given the reactions that both critics and audiences have given the first movie, I highly, highly, doubt that this will go over well.

I wonder if eventually the Fantastic 4 will get the same treatment that Sony gave Spiderman when it regards to the whole deal with the MCU and how it happened after the fallout from the Amazing Spiderman 2.

They should just sell off the F4 license to Marvel entirely, because it is clear that FOX just doesn't know what to do with this concept. Fan4stic was so bad that it made the first two movies look good somehow, so that doesn't really fill me with confidence for a sequel.

I hope that this is just Kinberg trying to save face because there's no way this can be real. Josh Trank's Fantastic Four was a disaster in almost every way. It was panned by critics and fans, bombed at the box office, ruined the director's career, and destroyed any interest audiences had for these characters.

 

At this point, selling the rights is the only sensible choice, since Marvel could make good use with the villains. Besides, with all the money they've made with Deadpool, it's not like they'll be giving anything up.
