general media Worst Anime/Manga Moments

One such moment, IMO, is at the end of the Afro Samurai manga: Kotaro is finally old enough to fight, in his prime, and ready to avenge his adoptive father against an aged Afro in an ironic reflection of Afro's own quest... only to just get anticlimactically bisected, thus making all of that buildup completely pointless.

Bakuman, clearly not the worst written series ever, and I actually thought a lot of it was great, but...

The part where Mashiro gets overworked and passed out, I did not like at all how it was handled. In the beginning of the series it was clearly shown that his uncle passed away from this happening. For this part of the series it devolves into irrational Shonen tropes and the one sane person, the editor-in-chief, who is concerned and telling Mashiro to not push himself so he won't end up dying from this, is practically painted as a villain at this point. In the end, every one is against him, even though he is the only one that is sane! And the series is clearly telling us who's side we're supposed to be on! I disagree!

But Mashiro DOES get through it, while drawing manga, because... Hard work, will, and friendship or something Magic.

The entirety of the Buu Saga for throwing everything they built up out the window for a few cheap laughs, royally screwing over Gohan just to have Goku the hero again, and screwing over anyone who wasn't a saiyan by making them pathetic. The only characters that benefited from this saga were Hercule and Vegeta, and at least Buu himself was a fun villain(until the saga went on for too long and eventually got boring)

I was enjoying Mirai Nikki until.....

So I was hoping Yuki and Yuno's relationship would be weird...But otherwise harmless...Yuki admitted he did love Yuno, like legit...Then she drugs him and kidnaps him to keep him safe.

I nearly quit the show all together after that but I am determined to finish

Soul Eater(the anime, not the manga) and Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt's endings.

I like both animes, don't get me wrong, but both endings feel a little bit...Rushed.

P&SWG's was probably intentional, but Soul Eater's ending doesn't really feel all that satisfying, probably because the manga goes on after that and the anime doesn't, meaning that by all means the anime isn't exactly "completed".

I especially hated how Krillin's sacrifice was instantly negated in the most in-your-face way possible by having 18 and Marron be Super Buu's very next victims.

In fact, I actually made it my official entry in the DBZ part of the Dethroning Moment Of Suck section on TV Tropes.

Not to mention the ending for the Fruits Basket anime!...That's why I encourage everyone to read the manga and skip the anime...This coming from someone who prefers anime over manga because I am an animation nut.

Every romantic comedy ever where the main character chooses the first girl he lays eyes on, not the one he's actually suited for.

I've only ever seen one anime where the MC chose the right love interest.

The ending of Dragon Ball GT made me so confused and annoyed. There was many questions unanswered, not to mention how the entire story played out.

I just hope Dragon Ball Super compensates for what GT made me go through.

The ending of Mirai Nikki just felt disappointing. I'm not sure why exactly, it just didn't feel substantial.

Naruto's streak of Broken Aesops.

Almost rivals The Undertaker's WrestleMania Streak -- but in a bad way, of course.

I just hope Dragon Ball Super compensates for what GT made me go through.

Alas, if you only knew...
