I loved Goosebumps before I could even read. XD

I remember collecting dozens and dozens of them, purely for the sake of owning them because I loved the covers. Finding a new one was like finding treasure to me as a young kid, LOL.

There was one night where my dad read me The Horror at Camp Jellyjam. The entire thing. I had a lot of fun that night. :D

I didn't read any of them myself until I got quite a lot older, but when I did I really liked the stories. Somehow I eventually lost all of the books I owned, unfortunately. But I still love the Goosebumps franchise, and I think it's what started my absolute love of horror. Honestly, I even liked the Goosebumps movie with Jack Black quite a bit.

I'm not sure what my favorite books were, but the first episodes I owned were Stay Out Of The Basement, The Werewolf of Fever Swamp, and The Haunted Mask, so I think those will always be my favorite. :) Those, and Werewolf Skin and Night of the Living Dummy, which I rented from the video store literally every time I went there. XD

I know how that feels I lost quite a lot of my collection throughout the years and I agree even today finding a Goosebumps book is like finding  treasure and nothing wrong with that as a child having somebody read you a story helps you get more into the book and those episodes were good, but sad thing about the episodes half of them did not even match up with the books which kind of makes it funny in a way, but the episodes were still good none the less.

Dude, absolutely. I freaking loved Goosebumps. I adored the sensation of watching it on TV, or reading the books, and getting a chill down my spine. That was the greatest.

I was super disappointed that the movie wasn't the least bit scary. But then again, I knew as soon as I heard that Jack Black was starring as R. L. Stine that it was gonna be more comedy-focused than anything.

Yeah, I noticed when I started reading the books that they didn't match up with the episodes I'd seen. Though, I think that's because they didn't want all the readers to be able to predict what would happen in the episodes, so it kind of makes sense.

I mean, there wouldn't be much fun in the ending of an episode (probably the part I always looked forward to the most, because I liked the twists and surprises) if you already knew what it was gonna be, haha.

Goosebumps is awesome =), but I did not care for the movie I felt it lacked a lot and Jack Black is a good actor, but I felt he should not have been in the movie.

That is true and the books were kind of graphic when it came to violence so they could not add that on a kids show, but the one thing I loved the most about the episodes was the beginning theme before the show started.

Yes, the theme!! Totally forgot about that. That was probably my second favorite part of the episodes. I absolutely loved the theme. XD

And as for the violence, that is true indeed. I remember someone stepping on a nail once in one of the Say Cheese and Die books, and I wasn't surprised at all that that part was left out of the episode. LOL.

That theme will remain in your head for days even though the theme was just a G going over things it was still epic lol and they did get somethings past the sensors in the episodes, but I loved watching them my favorite is Night of the Living Dummy I have always loved Slappy from the first time I've read the book.

Yes, even right now I can remember the whole theme from start to finish. XD And yeah, I loved all of the ones with Slappy in them, namely Night of the Living Dummy 3 for some reason. They were the ones that were rarely at my video store (I dunno why) and every time they were there, THEY WERE MINE. LOL

Lol. Well, it doesn't matter to me that it's off topic, so long as it doesn't bother you since it's your thread. ;) But anyways, thanks! I've been putting a whole lot of thought into her. I'm starting two roleplays too, one of which I actually did just start and it's been fun so far. But yeah, she's a bit far fetched (being a crossbreed and all) but I did it on purpose, I wanted something unique.

Does not bother me at all or my thread so no worries on that ^-^ and she is unique so you did good with that.

As soon as I saw the thread title, the theme song came right into my noggin. I used to love this show when I was a kid. I remember every October, I'd rush home from school to watch it.

The theme song is just that catchy lol and some themes fade over time, but the Goosebumps theme will live on forever and same loved watching the episodes even though they were different from the books still loved them.

Yeah I loved it growing up. One of my favorite books was the Cuckoo Clock of Doom. As for the TV show, every time it rained, my elementary school always showed Stay out of the Basement, the two with the mask where it becomes apart of you when you put it on three times, and a few others. They got boring to watch as I got older though.

Cuckoo Clock of Doom was a good read and it happens with age comes different likes and dislikes I like to watch the episodes time to time for nostalgia reasons brings back memories.
