It's like they don't like Twilight. I bet some fans who thought Twilight was hogging the spotlight in the show will be begging for the writers to let her take center stage again.

I am very glad about the season 7 confirmation. I always thought the thoughts about show needing were premature but confirmation is a relief regardless. 

 

Just because this season has played it safe it does not mean this tread will permanently continue. They did so much new and wrapping things up with season 5 and added much new writers that it is understandable that the show played it save for a while.

 

Now will be soon be eagerly awaiting for the new season while reading of "Season 7 should be the last or the show becomes Spongebob!" threads most likely

Yay! This is great news! Kinds puts to rest all the rumors and theories about S6 being the end, doesn't it.

Same goes for the Princesses and Shining Armor. I'm getting fed up with them being made the victims of every finale with being kidnapped or incapacitated in some way by the villain. We had the Royal Family have a major role saving the Crystal Empire in The Crystalling, then they end up being kidnapped as part of Chrysalis' revenge against them in To Where and Back Again, where it was Starlight and Thorax that inevitably saved them and allowed them to turn the tables on Chrysalis, who simply fled while swearing revenge not on them anymore, but Starlight instead.

Same here for all of the Alicorn Princesses. Show them some love already, writers!

I want to see an episode similar to slice of life where they show how they were all captured. Where we see bunch of brief connected stories of each changling group on their kidnapping mission.

 

I also want to see more dragon kingdom stories without main 6 involved.

 

I always wished startrek had done a species series where they took a ship and crew from different races and each week episode was different crew. So we could see startrek universe from perspective of a different alien ship and crew.

 

Would like this in MLP Fim. To where and back again part 2 proved writers can do full episodes with other characters.

 

Doesn't have to be full spinoff but at least one episode for each kingdom to test the waters.

 

Do one with dragons and if episode goes well then try spinoff. Try episode with griffins and see what happens. Heck maybe even a changling kingdom episode.

 

If one of the other kingdom episodes does well it can spinoff and run parallel to Fim like alantis did with SG1.

It'd be interesting if S7 will continue with Flurry Heart grown up, as the main character, the show following up with her own journey and struggles... Maybe she'll become the princess of Love, or she's the one to take Celestia's place.... Who knows, it'd  be sort of cool. I wish this show would never end :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P

Hopefully in Season 7, the Mane 6 will get new character arcs. There must be more to them.

I doubt FIM will give that treatment to MCFlurry . Maybe a spinoff or something, as the scrapbooks imply that she might have the spotlight one day

I knew there would be a S7 before they confirmed it. I would have honestly been shocked if they had not. I also am pretty positive there will be a S8 unless they do something truly unusual.

 

Mostly because I can take some logical guesses as to what Hasbro's plans are for the franchise. I may not know all the who's, where's and how's, but the why's, when's and the what's are written all over the walls.
