spoiler (SPOILER) How much did the villain know?

I have questions that will never be answered. After a long break and coming up with a well thought and fault tolerance plan. How much did Chrysalis know in regards to the events of season 3 to season 5? 

Seems like a pointless topic, but I figure it could be fun. Capturing everyone isn't something that can be done casually, it takes careful planning. Chrysalis I am assuming witnessed all these events, whether her spies did so, or she witnessed them in the background personally.

 

-Sombra's defeat 

 

We will never know how she feels about him, but I can imagine she had some relief knowing another powerful unicorn was eliminated.

 

-Twilight's alicorn ascension

 

I'm imagining this event made her beyond furious, viewing Twilight as more f a threat than she was in season 2 as a vulnerable and inexperienced unicorn.

 

-Chrysalis has to know of the human world.

 

I doubt it with this one, it remains a hypothesis. Celestia  and Luna had knowledge, so someone like Chrysalis who is the same age if not older than the two sisters has to know of other dimensions. Chrysalis has the issue of not being able to go and spy unless her or one of her drones was sent to survey the human world when no one was present in the Crystal Empire. Chrysalis I imagine sent a drone, because since the portal is open during so many moons, Chrysalis wouldn't risk leaving the hive to possibly be stuck.

 

I imagine a drone reported the events of Sunset Shimmer and Twilight's actions. Chrysalis in my view would view this world as easy pickings for her hive since the humans in the first EQG were sitting ducks who could have been easily harvested. 

 

-Tree of Harmony incident/Tirek's return/Rainbow Power

 

Chrysalis silent again observed the out of control state with the tree of harmony, she took interest into the the box realizing it was a dangerous weapon against her. Chrysalis in my head canon actually fears Lord Tirek. She didn't interfere because she never knew about Tirek's whereabouts until he gained power and worked with Discord to drain more pony magic. Chrysalis knows of Tarturus and that Tirek is too much for her when he is in his original state. She is angered she cannot exploit a possible weakness in the mane 6 to disrupt rainbow power being unveiled. 

 

It ends with Chrysalis having some  relief that Tirek has been sealed again, although the thought of the mane 6 being defeated would have delighted her, but only by her hooves alone. 

 

Rainbow Rocks

 

While a drone is in the human world... Chrysalis receives word about Adagio and her siren lackies. The sirens and changelings in my headcanon have a tense history. They were always competing for food. Sirens drained negative energy from fighting and bickering, this conflicts with the changelings wanting to drain love. Chrysalis personally knew Adagio when she was a young changeling princess(if they exist in the changeling hierarchy) The two competed for food all the time between ponies and griffons, whatever race they could exploit. 

 

She is relieved and personally satisfied knowing Adagio and the sirens are rendered powerless as this insures changeling dominance in the future. 

 

Starlight Glimmer

 

I can't add to much information here. I will say that Chrysalis never knew what Starlight had in mind. Chrysalis was totally unaware of time travel. I think Chrysalis would do everything in her effort to take that ability away from Starlight. So in season 5, Chrysalis never paid much attention to Our Town and their leader, she was still devising a revenge against the Mane 6. 

 

Friendship Games

 

More spying from the same drone destined to monitor activity there. Chrysalis takes personal amusement in seeing another Twilight Sparkle cause mayhem and calamity to others around her. Not much her, she enjoys watching Midnight Sparkle terrorize the mirror world.

 

So that might have been too long, but wanted to make educated guesses on Chrysalis monitoring Mane 6 activity and preparing for what we recently got in the season 6 finale.
