Can the changelings still transform?

I'm not sure why they wouldn't be able to, sure they might not "Need" to anymore, but it could still be a very useful ability at times. Plus, it's the major ability that set's them apart, and their ability to change form is even in their name.

 

 I'll be disappointed if they can't, honestly. I'm not opposed to the change in general, but taking away their main ability just seems silly.

My guess would be yes. For most species in the real world, maturity means gaining attributes, not losing them (caterpillars gain wings, mammals gain secondary sexual characteristics, etc.). There are exceptions, of course, but it would be a poor choice, for story purposes, to make the changelings one of those exceptions.

They are still changelings so they should still be able to, but since they are chill now they probably won't ever need to. They are now chill changelings. Chillgelings.

I would imagine so.. would seem odd to have them lose that ability. Makes me wonder what abilities they may have gained though?

I would guess not.  The form looked pretty permanent and why would they be able to change when their form is complete?  Balance achieved.  No love needed.  No changing for the changedlings.
