Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I think part of it could be that he was mad at Twilight, but he was definitely a jerk on top of that. At least he got over it by the end?
I got the impression that they were, but I don't remember that being explicitly stated anywhere. Did I miss something? If I didn't, do you think they are?
I can vouch for the "no big deal" side of the argument. My 5-year-old sister listens to brony songs on occasion, with my knowledge and approval. The vast majority are perfecly fine.
Celestial Advice and All Bottled Up were both only okay, and would have been better as mid- or late-season episodes. Honest Apple was ridiculous and treated Applejack horribly. Not Asking For Trouble was annoying (I really don't like the yaks). That's about it.
(If anyone's wondering, I thought Fluttershy Leans In was sweet and Hard to Say Anything was funny.)
So is it going to be another month, or what? Apparently we're only up to "Hard to Say Anything" in the U.S., and this would be four episodes after it. Or is it longer?
I'd like to see her again, maybe as a series finale antagonist. I'm not sure about the context, though. Maybe Celestia tries to fight a villain head-on and turns into her briefly during/after the combat?
Here's my listing, from strongest to weakest case:
Envy: Nightmare Moon (self-explanatory)
Lust: Chrysalis (self-explanatory)
Greed: Flim-Flam Brothers (self-explanatory)
Pride: Discord (He wanted to redesign the entire world to his own ideals, regardless of what anyone else wanted. Hard to be more prideful than that.)
Gluttony: Tirek (He ate the magic, plus he wanted all he could get.)
Sloth: Starlight Glimmer (Her village's ethos was based on being mediocre and not accomplishing anything.)
Wrath: Sombra (Most of what he did in TCE seemed motivated by anger.)
