  1. That's my stance too, more or less. I wouldn't mind a live-action version if the ponies looked the same as they do in the show, but otherwise, I'm not interested.
  2. One of the best things about the show, IMO, is how cute the ponies are. Replacing them with real horses would ruin that effect.
  3. I like the sound of King Thorax. Besides, does anyone associate the title "king" with evil? I know I don't. If anything, "prince" sounds more evil to me. Think Machiavelli.
  4. I hope she wants some goodnight cuddles...
  5. This is one of the cutest things I've ever seen.
  6. I know this question comes up periodically (okay, ridiculously frequently), and I wanted a feel for what people expect. Personally, I imagine there will be at least one post-movie season, possibly more, simply because Hasbro would probably see it as a waste to have a movie and not push the interest in the toys as much as possible afterwards (maybe even hoping to get new viewers of the show?). Nine seasons? Ten? Even more? It wouldn't surprise me.
  7. The vines probably rendered them catatonic and transported them through the ground.
  8. That, I have noticed. A fair number of bronies try to hold the show to the same quality standards as they would hold adult media, which isn't quite fair. The show is usually high-quality, of course, but I think many of the things bronies complain about can be forgiven.
  9. The target demographic is little girls? In other news, water is wet. That doesn't mean, of course, that there's anything wrong with the brony fandom existing.
  10. Considering how the thrones are set up, and the origin of the map, I don't think that's too likely. But if it happened, it could give an AMAZING array of plot options (er, story options): Fluttershy and Cadance Twilight and Celestia Twilight and Moondancer (or one of her other Canterlot friends, actually) Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich (again) Fluttershy and Scootaloo Cheerilee and the CMC I could go on all day. If only... Heck, maybe they should have somepony edit the map to allow this. They could probably run the show for a long time just based on the number of possible combinations.
  11. It could be similar to the Ainur and Valar from the Silmarillion. In other words, alicorns are angels that exist in the physical world and that the word "angel" refers to a spirit of the same sort. Remember, Twilight's ascension occurred in some sort of spirt world. Maybe there's one beyond that where angels live (and become alicorns when they descend to the physical world).
  12. Maybe it was originally AJ's and Apple Bloom got it as a hand-me-down?
  13. That Game of Thrones reference from TftM. Probably because it's one of the only references I've picked up on.
  14. Fluttershy and Coco Pommel for adults. Sweetie Belle is cutest overall.
  15. That is so adorable, I don't care how (un)realistic the proportions are.
  16. Seconded. I thought the message of ELTSD was "Old habits die hard", not "Starlight is secretly still evil". If anything, that episode helps humanize Starlight by showing that she still has things to work on.
