Redeye 399 December 28, 2016 Share December 28, 2016 The most random topic ever. There are some english words out there that are so awkward to pronounce, especially the ones with "ir" and "ur" in them, like "girl" or "rural". I always ends up sounding like a drunk whenever I try to pronounce them. What kinds of awkward-to-pronounce words do you guys know about? 1 gonna take you out

Oleks 1,993 December 28, 2016 Share December 28, 2016 Uranus. When I pronounce it, I always think about that video about "I can't even put a finger on Uranus".

Dreambiscuit 9,691 December 30, 2016 Share December 30, 2016 Okay, this isn't really a difficult one to pronounce, yet everyone I ever meet mispronounces it. The word is 'Sandwich'. It is not pronounced 'samwich' as many people seem to believe. It has no 'M' in it! This is one of my pet peeves and I'd like to hear it said correctly far more often, even if it is difficult.

Mirage 24,766 March 5 Share March 5 'Specific' is ironically difficult to pronounce, specifically because it's generally not used often...only in specific circumstances. “Remember that when you leave this earth, you can take with you nothing you have received--only what you have given.”
