Techno then teleported Will behind the army of troops and his cape was flowing in the wind...

As Will appeared in his Changeling form behind the troops, he couldn't help but give a flourish like those fairy tale princesses he's seen in his dreams, particularly one who read a lot of books in her life. He briefly transformed to look like the Bookworm Princess in her cape. For the first time in his life, Will felt truly free, and soon he hoped his kind would be too! 

The army turned toward the new arrival and were mesmerised by Will. I hope the rebels can take the next step toward freedom!

TU: Ahh looks like it's doing the trick! Plus I'm guessing you're not only feeling free but your also feeling ragal and powerful and that's probably getting backed up by the sensation of your cape flowing in the wind! Plus I'm even getting a little mesmerised by your cape myself but I guess that's a good sign that it's working!

Moon watched as the changelings suddenly turned and looked at Will, away from Maple's group. She allowed a small smile as confusion ran through the ranks.

Heh...and now I'll start a little chaos.

She launched her first spell wave. The spell caused effects similar to that of poison joke, making a large variety of effects. It only changed most of the troops, and effectively made the others panic as nearby soldiers turned into a wide spread of fruits,vegetables,and other odd items.

When the army got distracted by Will, Maple lept in stabbing one of them leaping and knocking a few back then stepped toward Ravage lunging at him with her spear. The force behind her strike implied she wasn't showing any mercy to him in particular.

The sight of light reflecting off Will's cape caught Ennex's attention, and as he turned to glance at it, so the changlings he was controlling turned as well.  The sight of the cape dazzling in the wind momentarily broke his hold over their minds, causing confusion...

Suddenly, a spell wave washed over his troops, changing some of them into random objects, and fully breaking whatever hold he had left when the others panicked.  He tried to reconnect his mind to theirs, but the chaotic thoughts caused by the panic was blocking him out.

A grunt from Ravage caught his attention, as the large bodyguard jumped to the side to avoid an attach from one of the rebels.  She landed close to Ennex, but her focus was on Ravage.  With a flash of insight, Ennex narrowed his eyes at her, and attempted to connect to her mind.....

Techno was still invisible to the timeline and he then teleported right in front of Ennex and he also disabled his invisibly and his cape was now fluttering around in Ennex's face...

 

TU: I guess my plan is working Ennex and I hope you enjoy your playtime with my cape!

Maple's lack of defensive mental training allowed Ennex to connect to her mind fairly easily, She was fairly easy to manipulate. It would require Ennex's full attention to keep her controlled however since Woody started trying to remove Ennex's control on her as soon as he noticed what was happening. "Come on Maple... Just fight against it and It'll break..." Woody said to himself while casting the magic to get Ennex out of her head.

(You can control Maple for a bit here. I'll allow it. I want to see what you do.)

As Ravage tried to get the guards back into formation (at least the ones that had not been transformed), Ennex focused all his attention on Maple.  One mind, one voice, he thought to her.  We are one mind.  we are one voice.  Stand firm... Her eyes seemed to go blank, and she dropped her spear and slowly turned away from the invaders to face the other rebels.  Her movements were forced, almost as if her body was acting against itself....

Moon stared at the image in shock. Her eyes closed, and she thought about what she could do. She opened her eyes and looked behind her. She stared at something for a moment before making a decision. Her eyes narrowed, and the glow of her gem brightened. She turned and walked through a open portal.

She emerged in the sky above the battle, instinctively unfolding her wings and spreading them wide. She looked down, quickly spotting Maple. She tilted her wings, causing her to plummet down to the ground, angling her wings so she slowed, and landed next to Maple.

Woody's magic stopped he couldn't do much at this point. " Whoa... He's way strong at that than I thought..." Woody contacted Techno via the usual mind link Techno, how dod I break his control on Maple... I tried to stop it but... He stopped as he took his cloak off doing what Maple would've done for him "Release her now!" Woody's voice boomed as he revealed himself as a dragonequus. "I'm not going to repeat myself!" 

Maple inside her mind was doing her best. This is why she hated magic it was unstoppable. She saw Moon appear in her own vision but couldn't really say anything to her.

Glancing at the dragonequus, Ennex suddenly grinned.  He focused all his mental attention...... 

....Maple turned to face her brother, and moved into a fighting stance.  

"Are you ready to face one of you own?" he asked the dragonequus?

I hate doing this...

She focused her magic, and to those who were looking, it seemed as though she suddenly vanished. But Ennex, Techno, and Woody felt what she had done, she had gone in Maple's mind.

During the following chaos, Will went around in Changeling form gathering the Changelings that were transformed, putting them into his cape like a infinite bag of holding.

Will mentally tried to send a private linked message to Techno. Techno, if you can hear me. Would it be alright to bring these Changelings back? I hope we can change these back to normal and perhaps keep them from falling under Ennex's control ever again. The less Changelings that can be controlled by our foes, the better.

(I hope this is a good direction for the story)

Woody felt what Moon did and smiled Just have to keep her from doing irreversible damage and I can't let him know I know...  His expression changed to seem down and sort of desperate " It... It would be what she wants me to do." HE also took a readied stance ready to protect himself from anything he would have Maple do against him.

Maple saw Moon enter her mind "Oh thank Celestia... Moon, I'm glad to see you here." Inside of her head things didn't look good there where several parts that looked covered in a dark energy which Ennex was using to control her

Moon didn't seem bothered by the surroundings. Her face made it seem like it wasn't her first time in these circumstances. "Maple." She glanced around, thinking for a moment. "...I've seen worse." She looked back at Maple. "Huh.You are certainly stronger than you look. Your will is strong enough to keep you here in this pocket. Fluttershy was right about you."

TU: Yes of course Will we could try to re-image their minds so they join our side!

TU: Please Maple just break the control of Ennex! You could try completely re-imaging your mind as that would change your mind's internal language so Ennex would need to figure out the new language before he can control you again! Or maybe I'll have to try re-imaging you myself!

Ennex frowned.  He could feel the others attempting to interfere with his control.  Then an idea came to him, and he focused on her basic instincts, her most simple of reflexes.  He could feel her gaze on the dragonequus.  Enemy! he shouted into her mind.  Attack!  Attack!  ATTACK!

TU: Well to be honest all of us have the power to completely override anything that's trying to control us mentally with magic! So you could use extreme force to break the connection and for now just stay with me so you can't fight your brother! 

 

Techno then shouted back into Woody's mind...

 

TU: No don't let Ennex control you like that! You will always have more power over yourself than what anyone controlling you dose! Plus if you saw what Will's cape caused to happen with the enemies your cape will do the same thing to so as long as your wearing it you will also be a massive distraction to the enemies!

Moon turned and walked towards the dark magic. Not turning, she said, "Ennex is trying to make you attack Woody.And changing your mind would take a while, and Ennex would detect it. It would make you vulnerable, and he could wipe you out. If that happens, it'll take a lot to break the control." She stopped just in front of the black energy. When she neared it, it gathered into a tendril, and coiled, looking like it was going to attack. Moon's eyes flicked to the rest of the magic, which was still a hazy fog surrounding the two. She looked back to the 'snake' and then at Maple. She glanced down at her side, and a saddlebag appeared. It was a pale lavender, with a pink star surrounded by small white stars on the side. She lifted something out of it gently, still watching the snake. It didn't attack, instead choosing to watch as she pulled a swirling rainbow orb out. "Your mistake." She summoned a blade of magic, and cracked it, causing a drop of rainbow liquid to trickle down the side.

In the real world, Maple did attack Woody, It was more of a primal instinct at this point instead of using her spear she decided to leap at Woody, Ignoring Techno completely, and going for Woody's throat with her fangs.

Woody put his arm up to protect his throat. Maple, however, bit into his arm "Gah..." He said pained, The fangs sunk Deep into his paw it was going to deal a lot of damage.

Ravage finally corralled the remaining guards back into a loose formation, while Ennex focused on controlling Maple.  He allowed his emotions to flow to her, mostly anger and hate, trying to fuel her primal instincts so she would continue attacking the dragonequus.

Moon gently brought the orb closer to the snake. When it neared the dark magic, it reared back and hissed, tensing. "This is...how should I say it? A sonic rainboom's essence mixed with magic.Powerful magic. Which means that it should..." She acted fast, drawing some of the liquid out of the orb, and touching the energy snake with it. The creature slithered back as fast as it could, turning back into the magic fog, but it was quickly dissolving. "Huh. So she was right. Feel sorry for Rainbow..." She was mostly talking to herself, but she then turned and addressed Maple. "It'll weaken Ennex's control. Should be enough for you to regain control long enough to allow me to knock you out." She frowned. "I wish I could do something else, but we need to get you back as quick as possible, and we don't have time for the other way." Her ear twitched, and she paled, looking disgusted. "....I pity Ennex."

Ennex was making Maple attack with a bloodlust it was even her own brother she was trying to kill eventually his arms gave up so he kicked Maple into a tree. Maple stood up again and ran at Woody again full of not only Ennex's but also her own hate. Woody dodged Maple's attempt at biting him again and threw her into Ennex.

Ennex braced himself, but a flash of black jumped in front of him.  Ravage had leaped into Maple, knocking them both to the ground.  His eyes blinking, concentration broken, Ennex realized he had lost his hold over her mind.  NO!!! he shouted, and tried to connect again...
