Twist becoming a CMC member

I thought of a much better way how Pinkie Pie and the Cutie Mark Crusaders can be closer together. If you recall in Call of the Cutie, Twist's special talent is making sugary treats, which is what Pinkie Pie is also talented in. What Pinkie could do is hire Twist as her first mentee in Sugarcube Corner, exactly like how Twilight hired Starlight as her first student. Twist can then make a sweet gift for the Cutie Mark Crusaders, so sweet that they'll welcome her as part of them in their clubhouse. By then, we'd then have four of the Mane six ponies sporting their own individual CMC member:

• Applejack - Apple Bloom
• Rainbow Dash - Scootaloo
• Rarity - Sweetie Belle
• Pinkie Pie - Twist

i like this idea. Alwaysa liked Twist, and an episode where Applebloom, moreso than the other 2, needs to made amends with her is long overdue. However, Twist should come as a set with Truffle, since they hooked up in Hearts and Hooves Day, and have frequently been seen together since

I like the idea of Twist being involved in the series again, and even being seen working at Sugarcube Corner every now and then. I wouldn't 

necessarily want her as a main character/part of the CMCs, though.

While I'm not against Twist joining the CMC, or her returning in general(Applebloom kinda owes one her after screwing her over in Call of the Cutie) I don't see how or why she'd have anything to do with Pinkie Pie

This could be a good way to bring her back, but perhaps not as some student to Pinkie or something similar. I like Pinkie doing her own thing. Twist could be an assistant to Sugarcube Corner and whether or not she joinsd the CMC's, she could still be a good friend of theirs. At this point, it doesn't seem like she interacts with any of them, ever.

Pinkie taking on an apprentice certainly intrigues me -- dare I say far more than adding another CMC member. That alone is worth a couple of interesting episodes. They would need to recast the voice actress, but that's not a big deal.

That seems like a creative idea, but I just don't see them working together. Other than their talents they are completely different, and Twist already seems fine, and has friends of her own. Maybe a better character, or a new one.

I wouldn't be opposed to her returning again, because she was apparently Apple Bloom's only friend before she met Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, and hasn't been seen ever sense.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like I am completely opposed to this idea but I'm not an avid CMC fan at the best of times, Twist already has her cutie mark which would sort of defeat the point of the group's existence in the first place and, frankly I think that the current members of the group have a pleasant dynamic together and to introduce a new member at this stage in the show's lifespan would fell somewhat forced and unessacary.

wrong. She has been seen plenty of times after Apple Bloom dropped her like a hot potato. In fact, true to "Hearts and Hooves Day", Twist has been seen VERY frequently with a colt named Truffle Shuffle, in the background.

I don't think that'll happen. Twist has been pushed aside a long time ago, and she'll likely won't ever have lines nor a role again. Many will say she's a bad friend to Apple Bloom, or the reverse, but there's actually a meta reason for that: Her voice actress moved away. Yeah, Alexandra Carter moved from Vanhoo... I mean Vancouver way back, before S3 if I'm not mistaken. They could replace her VA, but that's not an usual MO of DHX . On the contrary, I believe Twist would have a role a couple of seasons back
