Maple looked at him confused "What are you saying? Nightwatch? No Moonshadow's the Day guard Captain... And I'm PRETTY sure he's not a changeling."

Woody ran over to him "You stayed in the building as the roof came off... Maybe you took a blow to the head or something. Are you alright? You seem distressed." Woody levitated a rag into his paw and dusted the bits of roof off of midnight.

Midnight looked up. "When did the roof collapse?" He said, confused. "Maybe i am imagining things, maybe i did take some concrete to the head. I dont understand whats going on. Maybe i need to lie down." He said, rubbing his head.

"First of all" Unicorn Will said. "What's your relationship with Maple? I mean, she hates Changeling and you're one. I'll bet she doesn't even know.

"Second, what convinced you to leave the Hive?

"Thirdly, during my Disney Performance you saw 20 years ago, did you ever suspect I was a Changeling, even though I myself at the time didn't know I had the soul of one? I mean I was mimicking all those Disney characters with magic, right?"

"All she told me was a Changeling with a false nice demeanor betrayed her and replaced her. She said her brother Woody suspected she was replaced. She didn't exactly tell me how she was saved. But let me guess: Was it you who saved her? I kinda know the feeling. Because without my Changeling's help, her parents would have been trapped and the siblings wouldn't have been born."

"Youre right, i cant seem to grasp onto anything." Midnight said. "Ill stay here, and wait for you and will to comeback, i need some time to organize my thoughts." He said. maybe i should've slept in today he thought to himself, using his wings to brush off the debris from his hoodie.

" You guessed it... but I did it as this form... and Chrysalis didn't see through it. Ever sense I've been doing my best to keep anyone from getting taken by Chryssi or her pawns... Which I know you're not one of." Moonshadow looked at Will and smiled "Also... That changeling who found her... Well after saving Maple I went back and found that changeling... It wasn't one I was fond of so I killed him and got banished from the her new hive... Not like I care to return" He shrugged and sat down in the changeling's hoof. "I heard about that as well... though Chryssi wasn't too happy about it."

 

A while after that comment

Woddy ran up and saw that Will had stopped rampaging "Will...s? You ok now?"

Maple was still a bit behind and something else happened so she'll take a bit longer to arrive.

U. Will spoke to Woody through the mirror. Careful not to expose MoonShadow, he simply said, "Yeah. C. Will's a bit non-responsive right now and might still remain a giant for a while longer. But I managed to confessed my love to him and he's going to recover. And it's all thanks to MoonShadow. He helped C. Will. In the meantime, while I may be unable to switch forms, I can still move and control C. Will's body from the backseat."

At his control, U. Will made his Changeling Cage Hand turn normal, freeing the Earth Pony and setting him down on the ground. Will wanted to ask one more question about MoonShadow's opinion of Maple, but he dare not risk outing MoonShadow as a Changeling. "Hey, where's Maple?"

A short distance away the group heard Maple "Grah" Shortly after her voice was heard, a few wooden splinters flew over to them and Maple walked up stretching. She'd just killed a timber wolf it was apparent there had been several due to the amount of sap on her that and other tree remains. "Hate... those barky mutts... What'd I miss?..."

Will will be driving the Giant Changeling. "I would like to apologize on his behalf for all that happened earlier. He didn't mean to hurt you. I guess this "Coma" he's experiencing is his time out for his behavior " He turned to Moonshadow. "Once again, thanks for helping us, MoonShadow. You are a good soul."

The giant Changeling was slowly shrinking down, although he was still taller than most trees. "C. Will will be okay, guys. But why don't head back to the cottage and I can repair the damage we Wills caused?"

"Sounds good. Let's all head back there then." Woody agreed knowing that Will would be at normal size by the time they got back.

Maple hesitated "I'll meet you both back there. I've got something I need to get from. Deeper in the forest." In reality, there wasn't anything Maple just wanted to break some more timber wolfs. There seemed to be more than normal and Woody came to the forest a lot "See you both." Maple waved to them as she walked out of the clearing.

" Well... Guess we'll see her back there then." Woody said waving for him to follow as he started to walk home.

By the time they made it back to the cottage, C. Will's body has shrunk down to the size of Discord. Not normal sized, but still close. C. Will finally awoke with a "Oh Woody, what happened?" He quickly remembered what he did when he saw the damage! "Oh, please tell me I didn't hurt Maple or anyone else, did I?"

Something was clearly wrong Maple was holding her wings over the top of her head... Woody could assume she was hurt but didn't want the others to see it "Sorry I'm here early something happened and I didn't care to stay after it happen-" Woody then grabbed her wing and pulled it down revealing a deer horn similar to his own... Maple lowered her other wing revealing a matching one.

" Wait for WHAT!" Woody said loudly freaking out.

Maple points to the patch of Poison Joke. " This is what it does to me... It's not exactly funny I know... This isn't the first time it's happened to me." Woody went to touch the horns "Don't!... They're really sensitive." Maple stated quickly and Woody lowered his paw.

" It's Poison Joke's effect on me... you know it's different for everyone..." Maple started to mess with her mane. As she does when she's nervous. AMple looked at her wings and there where marks covering them probably from the timber wolfs " Oh! I din't even see those... Don't worry you two I'm fine... Though I'll need a herbal bath for the horns to go away."

"I don't know... I think I like them, sis'." Woody said with a wink. "Even though you can't cast with them they still look nice on you... Why didn't you tell me about this before?"

"Becuase you don't understand... The wind that is hitting them is making me really cold." The others felt a breeze too but it was very light not even enough to be cold through a natural coat while Maple was almost shivering " It's kinda hard to put up with... As you can imagine."

Midnight didn't feel it, mostly because of his hoodie. "If you're cold, we can go to my house. Its not that far from here." He offered. "Don't worry, my friend is out and about, he went to Canterlot for some stuff, he won't be back until later in the month." He said. "However, that's only if you want to come."

"I'm ready to go with you." Maple says moving her wings showing the horns again feeling cold again but her wings were tired "Lead the way Midnight."
