If anyone missed the stream Nintendo's Pre E3 Video is up on the Nintendo Direct Site.

http://www.nintendo.com/nintendo_direct

After watching this I am really starting to get excited about E3. There's just so many things that the Wii U could do and become that I might have to reconsider buying it a lot earlier then originally planned...

Anyways, one thing I really wanna get off my chest is that I honestly hope that they change the name to New Super Mario Bros. 3, or heck, New Super Mario Bros. 3D! Technically, it's the 3rd in the sub-series, and it should be named as so. This just doesn't make any sense.

Predictions? Hm... Well for 3DS, ....... I'll hope and pray for a new 3DS Zelda or Majora's Mask remake.

That's already out of the question, unfortunately. If they announce a new Zelda 3DS game this year, it will be that possible new from-scratch Zelda game that they'll make. It will have gameplay similar to the modern console editions.

The reason this is is that they don't want to have a remake after a remake, so if we get a MM 3D, it will be after this new one. So I assume we will see the remake in maybe about 2 or 3 years. Don't get me wrong though, they will aboslutely do this, so many fans want it.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 being the main attraction would make me want to cry. We don't need to see anymore of that game. We already know everything about it. It's just another New Super Mario Bros. game. Show us games that we actually need to know more about, like Animal Crossing and Paper Mario. New Super Mario Bros. 2 shouldn't even be coming out before them. I hate Nintendo for this.

What I meant about the main attraction is that it'll be the main attraction for the 3DS segments of the conference. :P

I only hope because that is the game I'm most hyped for, but I hope, for the sake of the whole fanbase, that they equally focus on the other 3DS games as well.

Tbh, we really don't know anything about the game, except a few confirmed levels, Mario as a playable charcater, a few enemies, items, and something that has to do with gold (one screenshot had a gold Mario, and another had gold enemies). There's still tons to be cleared up about the game. In fact, we know less of that game than say Animal Crossing, or Luigi's Mansion 2, because we don't even have a trailer for NSMB2.

At the end of the video, he said there will be stuff about the 3ds. Though, it is mainly about the wii u.

I heard exactly what he said.

He said that they will have plenty of news for the 3DS in future opportunities. In other words, not E3.

Well, I don't know, I think they're already skimming out on going to Gamescom this year. O-o

You know, I hate how everyone is looking at "Wii-U vs Graphical Power" and not all the other amazing things they are doing with it. In theory, at the very least, the online connectivity of the Wii-U is definitely an improvement. The way this could affect gameplay could be pretty good too. Even if their graphics aren't as good as the PS3 or are even on-par and not better they still did something unique and I hate how people look past that and just see the graphical power of it.

The Wii U looks good so far, but I'm still not convinced. I'll wait till we learn more at Nintendo's conference (is it tomorrow)

And I still think that the name is horrible.

I think Microsoft's Conference is going right now but I'm not watching it because I don't have an Xbox or 360 so I've never particularly paid attention to them. lol

Microsoft's presentation...

I disagree wholeheartedly! I'm still in the process of watching it, but I thought the Xbox Live Glass (I think that was what it was called) was REALLY a great idea and will add a lot of functionality to the Xbox. And the fact that they were SMART and didn't limit it to windows enabled devices, but said HEY! We'll do this on ALL devices! :D That's AWESOME. I can't wait for that to come out. The Tomb Raider video was laughable. All the shit she went through you'd DIE from just from the internal injuries. You wouldn't go *anywhere* after all that. But I laughed my ass off when Usher came out and NO ONE cheered. No one. It was hilarious. I can't wait to see the rest. OH. And the Halo 4 footage was O_O supercool. :3

Only interesting thing in the whole E3 is Gears of War: Judgement.

And I have mixed feelings about that too.

Not even Tomb Raider, Resident Evil 6 and Dead Space 3!?

Well Microsoft was terrible, Sony was even worse in my opinion, Ubisoft was embarrassing and uncomfortable to watch, and EA nearly put me to sleep...

Microsoft response to WiiU = smartglass = copy of most basic concept of WiiU pad except for use with phone/tablet so you have to keep switching between your phone/tablet/360 controller to play a game

Sony response = ...book reader thing..? There was really nothing special about their conference either....

That said, I'm looking forward to Watch_Dog, Assassin's Creed, ZombiU, Halo 4, and Tomb Raider - and all of those besides Halo will be on the WiiU I believe

I've got a source saying the WiiU demonstration is gonna blow us away so I'm really looking forward to it tomorrow. Nintendo's always gotta show em how its done.

Oh man, I can't wait for The Last Of Us. The gameplay looks really slow and deliberate, really got a cinematic feel to it. This game will be awesome, awesome, awesome. I can't tell if it's gonna be an escort mission with the girl or the girl is gonna actually be a vital part of the gameplay, as we can see she saves the guy on a regular basis. Definitely has a survival feeling to it. Edited by Raronoopa

Is there one game announced that isn't a sequel? I'm getting tired of generic shooter series#491 and zombies won't go away 82 or Bazookas in Space 34 and especially Bread n' Butter on Wheels 352.

Last of Us does look pretty cool. Nothing new but everything old done right: a helpful[/i] and intelligent escortee, legitimate suspense, and a definite feel of affect to getting shot.

Watchdogs looks great for its concept but that's about it. More interested in LoU.

You know, it's E3 time and this board is pretty dead about it. There must not be many gamers on this site. I'm on a site that's only got like ten active members and it's more active than this because of E3. LOL

Uh yeah, Nintendo's conference was pretty disappointing. The only interesting game for me was Pikmin 3, and that was the very first game they presented.

I got excited when they first introduced Nintendoland because I thought they were talking about Smash Bros for a second! Oh well..

That was really disappointing. And I already had low expectations.

I thought they might at least some large unannounced Wii U title that others could appreciate like a Metroid or Star Fox game. All we got was "SiNG" and "Wii Fit U"

That was...sad. Didn't give me much faith for the Wii U at all.
