Last night, we received news that american actor David Ogden Stiers passed away at age 75 while battling cancer.

Stiers was particularly famous for his role as Major Charles Emerson Winchester III in the television series "M*A*S*H," and his role in voicing Cogsworth in the original Beauty and the Beast movie in 1991.

I'm familiar with those characters from Pocahontas, but I've never seen Lilo and Stitch before.

In addition to his Disney work, I'll always remember him as Mr Maellard from Regular Show. 

His role as the Archdeacon in The Hunchback of Notre Dame was just amazing. I still get chills when I hear his part during the Bells Of Notre Dame.

Lilo and Stitch definitely remind me of Spike and Thorax's relationship as I have already mentioned in Ask Thorax.

Also, I forgot to mention that because Stiers was the Narrator to the animated Beauty and the Beast, his voice was among the first I ever heard. I only hope that whenever I tell the story of Beauty and the Beast as Disney Storyteller Unicorn Will Guide, I give a vocal performance as worthy as Stiers.

He was a very talented man who brought a lot of happiness to others, and he will be missed.
