i've always been partial to spider-man (peter parker). it's the combination of him having super strength, reflexes, and wicked sense of humour that earned my eternal adoration.

Exactly this^ Luke Skywalker is central to all my ideals of what a true hero is all about.  As far as superheroes, I'll go with Condorman.

Batman, Nightwing, Redhood, Green Lantern, Raven and Green Arrow. Out of marvel I like Rogue, Nightcrawler and Ironman.
