Chicken curry al fresco – camping gear test – dehydrated MRE with added fried turkey mince (the original's chicken content is not a lot), plus added garam masala & homemade mustard. It was a bit too much but so good  I scoffed the lot.

Wood burner stove needs a modification tho, got choked with ash by the end of the evening so nothing would burn for lack of oxygen. Plenty of smoke tho, I can still smell it!   Gordon Bennett...

T'was a hot day so a type of salady thing – quiche, steamed potatoes with melted margerine, tomatoes, a bit of raw onion, red & orange peppers, pickled beetroot, Red Leicester cheese & Stilton, splash of olive oil, ketchup, Picalilli pickle, tea ..... to be honest I wasn't sure I would eat it all ...
