"The latter is what I'm talking about, since I only smell the fresh air and you." Jenna pointed out "Though I guess you are used to lot of smells that would make me puke, since you have had your heightened senses always, and senses tend to ignore things that are always there."

"Yeah, having a strong sense of smell can be pretty awful sometimes," Oliver joked, smiling at Jenna. "You can follow scents great, but you can also find ones that make you regret having a nose in the first place."

"Yeah." Jenna simply said "My powers aren't always great on that aspect either, for example, if I were to take control of the air, I feel with it, and there are things like for example swarms of insects that feel quite gross."

Oliver squirmed a little at the image of insects crawling all over him. "Eww, yeah that's probably a lot worse."

He smiled at her. "But a bunch of bugs are no problem for someone as tough as you, right?"

"I have gotten used to it yes." Jenna agreed "And I have the advantage over you that I can control if I want to feel things or not, since I need to take control of things to feel them." "I would have probably gone mad if I couldn't control it."

Oliver frowned at Jenna's last comment, tilting his head. He didn't see Jenna as the type to lose control, so the idea of her doing it wasn't a pleasant one.

"Well, you seem to have a lot of control over it," he assured her.

"Well like I said, I do control it." Jenna responded "My point was that if my powers worked like your senses instead of how they really work, as in, were always on, I most likely would have not been able to handle it mentally because of all the things that I really don't want to feel." she explained

Oliver frowned at the idea of Jenna losing control of her powers, though it sounded like she had a firm grip on them. Though he didn't like the thought of her not wanting to feel some things. "Well, good thing your powers work different to mine."

Jenna just nodded, it didn't seem that Oliver would exactly get what she was trying to say but close enough "I don't remember if I have asked this already, but which side of yourself do you prefer?" "What I mean is, if you were forced to choose to either stay as wolf forever, or as human forever, which on would you choose?" "The senses are only on the wolf side on this fictional situation."

Oliver frowned in thought. He'd never thought about such a thing before. He wasn't too sure what he'd choose, since he'd always been able to go between the two.

"Well, we wouldn't have met if I wasn't human," he said.

"I guess, but what about the choice came for example tomorrow, everything that has happened has happened, but the choice decides your future?" Jenna added to her question, but before Oliver could respond she added a bit more "I wouldn't like you any less in either form."  she felt it needed to be added to avoid him thinking what she would like him to choose.

"I'm honestly not sure," Oliver said, biting his lip. "I guess it'd be a lot easier to be with you as a human, so if I absolutely had to choose, I guess it would be that."

He smiled at Jenna. "Or if you really need a dog."

Jenna let out amused exhale "I should have expected that type of response." "I just asked because, well, it's sometimes good to think about things like that, it helps you to see all the good and bad in things if you think which one you would get rid off if you had no other choice."

"Yeah, hopefully it never actually comes to that," Oliver said. "I like being able to change between both forms."

He looked at Jenna, curious. "What about you? If you had to choose between keeping or losing your powers, what would you do?"

"It really depends." Jenna answered thoughtfully "If we are talking about choosing it tomorrow, I'd keep them, at this point it would be like cutting several limbs off if I lost them." "But if it would have happened before I got used to them, I'd probably get rid off them."

Oliver nodded, understanding Jenna's reasoning. "Yeah, that makes sense. You're used to them now and you learned how to use them."

He looked down at his feet. "I've always had mine, so I dunno what I'd do."

"I'd still say it would be good for you to think about it sometimes, you may find new things to appreciate about both of them if you really think what it would be like without." Jenna stated "And that goes to everything really, friends, stuff, experiences." "Some say that people don't appreciate things until they are gone, so I'd say it's good to appreciate them before that by imagining what it would be like without them.".

Oliver nodded. "Yeah, that makes sense. Don't take stuff for granted and appreciate the stuff you have now."

He smiled at Jenna. "Well, I definitely apprciate having you around, so I guess that's a good start."

Jenna smiled and leaned back "Feeling is mutual." she didn't really get the answers she had hoped for, but whatever, it wasn't important anyways. She was quiet for a moment, thinking about things, when she suddenly spoke again "There's something I'm curious about that I haven't remembered to ask." "Do you have anyone you look up to, besides your parents, the type of person who you have always looked up to, who is role model of sort for you? someone like my trainer is for me?"

Oliver looked up at Jenna when she spoke up again. He blinked slowly, processing the question.

"Besides my parents, I don't think I do," he admitted, looking down at the ground. "Well, you're a great trainer and a great person, so I guess maybe you count?" He smiled back at Jenna.

"Actually I don't count." Jenna stated "I knew you would say me so I specified that it has to be someone who has been there always." "But it's curious, yet not unusual that you don't have other role models." "What about idols?, any celebrities or such that have had an effect in your life?"

"I dunno, really," Oliver said, shrugging. "I watch a little TV and some movies, but I don't really idolise anyone."

He looked at Jenna. "What about you? Anyone besides your trainer you look up to?"

"Not really enough to call them an idol." Jenna said with a shrug "I of course liked superheroes, but I never idolized any of them, probably because I knew they were just characters." "Not that I really had time to watch them enough to idolize them anyways, since I spent most of my free time with my trainer."

"Superheroes are pretty cool too," Oliver agreed, grinning. "But your trainer seems pretty awesom as well."

His grin grew as he remembered Jenna's spar with her. "Especially if she trained you that well."

"Yeah, she's great." Jenna agreed "There's not much else I can say about her." she looked thoughtful "But I have wondered for a while now if she has powers, or if she at least knows about their existence."
