At the mention of gaining freedom from helping the two stallions, Frozen nodded wholeheartedly. "If you work with us, then Big Shot will guarantee your freedom. Besides, if we lost any team members, then you can be the alternate." He could see the look in Snow's eyes. "I'm only saying that because this is Big Shot we're dealing with. He always has high hopes in those that we recruit to work together. Sometimes he tries to work out a deal, but we'll make sure to put in a good word with you." The two watched as Snow sheathed his blade. Cosmic noticed the outstretched hoof and took his hoof to show that he was all for the deal. "I can say is welcome to the team, partner. My thoughts exactly on the whole betray thing. If you get in my way, then you'll regret it." He says, before letting go of Snow's hoof and walking back down the path. "So, I guess we should go find Draco. He should be near the path of where you two were fighting, right? Perhaps he'll be going to find you, so he'll be in for a surprise." He chuckled at the thought of Draco's reaction to Snow's betrayal. 

 

"Agree, its finally time to put O'mally in his place. Though we need to be careful, if he flees he'll warn the rest of Lotus of my betrayal" Frostflame looks to the direction of Draco "Alright, let's move out!" Frostflame pulls out his blade and heads towards Draco's direction. He didn't fully trust his allies, but what choice did he have. He knew from the start Team Lotus would have been the end of him, and this was his best chance at freedom but at the cost of his allies lives. After all, he did state he doesn't care for their lives... nor anyones.

"Reflect." With that word uttered, the shield shattered and shards of glass flew out in every direction. Dynamo morphed into his sphere form as he moved out of the way from Patchwork. The form didn't last long as he transformed back, but he was thankful for getting some distance. "I guess I managed to get my second wind. S-So, what do you say, Patchwork? Round two." He lowered his body and got into a battle stance. He grit his teeth as was still in pain, but he would fight through the pain and beat this guy. There was still fear in his eyes, but there was a look of seriousness, as well. A sense of determination that was going to back him up. There was a sort of glow in his pupil that showed he wasn't ready to give up just yet. 

 

"I love it!" Topaz announced, "Just when you think it's all over, Dynamo Pad is back for a second helping. The only thing that can make pain like this more enjoyable is a healthy helping of dramatic tension!"

"What the!" Big Shot's voice said through Frozen's earpiece. This time it was so loud that Snow would have likely heard it. "Listen, I'll call you back later!" He hung up.

 

Patchwork used his legs to shield himself as he flew black against the glassy explosion. He landed across from Dynamo on all fours, covered in cuts across his fur. "Didn't think you had that in you. You really are interesting. I look forward to cutting you open and seeing what makes you tick." He said as he used one of his glowing hoofs to instantly heal a deep gash on his shoulder. "Another medical perk. Anything you cut off, I can stitch back in place." He explained as he ran his hoof across his chest. "Not that it matters. With the nerve agent working through your veins, every spell you cast brings you closer to blacking out."

Dynamo didn't say anything to Patchwork as he was ready to continue the match. "I'm not going to allow you to do anything like that. I know you've done this to other ponies, but I'll make sure to be the last. Your days of being a doctor a-are finished." He watched as Patchwork used a glowing hoof to head the damage to his shoulder. 'So, he's just like Ray in regards to healing. Although, he might be more skilled because he's a doctor. I might have to be a little tricky this time around.' He narrowed his eyes at the given information. "So, you can basically heal with no strings attached, huh? Then that means you have a limit on how much you can heal and how much pain you can take." He would have to bank on it, but he knew what he had to do, in order to win. "I'll just take it to the next level, so you won't be given the chance. I'll make sure to force you into surrendering." He didn't say anything as he knew Patchwork was right. The gaming unicorn was beginning to become exhausted. Two fights back to back, along with the toxins were taking it's toll. "I guess you didn't see me pass out a moment ago. Still, thanks for the warning, but what of it?" His horn glowed as he was preparing his next move for the match.

Cosmic turned in every direction as he kept a close eye on Draco's whereabouts. The giant grin ever present on his face. "Well, we'll make sure to get rid of Draco, before he gets the chance to tell your old team." Frozen, however, had a backup plan. "Hey, Mr. Big Shot? I hope you heard that." He whispered softly into the ear piece. "Just in case we aren't able to get the job done, then I need you to relay the message to Team Lotus. This way, we can really shake up their team and they'll slowly fall apart. They'll be out of the tournament regardless."

As Big Shot shouted, Frozen's eyes widened in surprise. "Sir! What's wrong!? What's happening over there!?" As Big Shot ended the conversation, Frozen stopped, which gained the attention of Cosmic. "Big Shot? Sir? Please, respond!" Cosmic could only turn around and raise an eyebrow. "What's going on? What happened, Frozen?" Frozen could only shake his head, while having a perplexed look upon his face. "I-I honestly don't know. One minute, I'm talking to Big Shot and telling him that we need to take down Draco. He then goes on to telling us that we might need to be back at the arena. Then, he's freaking out and hung up on me." Hearing this managed to make Cosmic feel somewhat alarmed. He turned around and started walking once again. "I guess we just have to find and finish Draco as soon as possible." He looked behind him to glance at Snow. All the while, giving their new 'ally' a glare. "You were a part of their team. I can tell the captain is pretty strong. Rose was damaged from the information I gathered. You also have our favorite punching bag. Just what is going on over there that's making Big Shot feeling worried? Care to enlighten us, Snow?" Cosmic asked as he too, was unsure of what was happening.

Cosmic snarled at Snow's remark, before turning his attention to what was in front of him. "I don't like how you said that. So, you better watch out. You talk out of line, then you'll regret it. Don't forget this a one way deal. We don't cross you and you don't bad mouth us." The neon green unicorn shook as he walked. He took a deep breath, before exhaling and calming down somewhat. "I guess it depends on what you define as pathetic. I admit his gaming talents are impressive, but that talent should have been mine and mine alone. If pathetic on his kindness and friendship, then I can agree with you." He scoffed and shook his head. "Oh, please. Sooner or later, they'll make a mistake that will cost them. They already did when they lost you. Trust me that I won't be made a fool out of. If anything, I'll make a fool out of everyone, who thinks they have what it takes to succeed. Once destiny is set in stone, there's no changing it." Frozen rolled his eyes, but nodded in agreement. "While that philosophy is somewhat flawed. I can somewhat agree with Cosmic. His talent is not only being a stargazer, but to look at how the stars align. It's his way of being a psychic, but without the whole horoscope readings."

Cosmic shot Frozen a glare, so as to silence him. "That's besides the point! At any rate, I can tell when I see someone is powerless against my talents. Rose doesn't seem to be a threat and Jade doesn't scare me. We saw the fight you had yesterday. True, she's powerful. However, she poses no threat to me. If she doesn't know that you defected from the team, then there's no harm done, right? Out of sight, out of mind I always say." Cosmic and Frozen stopped in their steps as they noticed that Draco was just up ahead. "You're right that no introductions are needed. After all, we've seen how you two interact. His overconfidence and attitude will be his downfall." Frozen noted as they awaited for Draco to arrive. "So, do you have an idea on how to take this guy down? I'll need all the info I can get, so we can formulate a strategy."

"It's true!" The unicorn gloated, "One of my many enhancements. I can cut off my pain receptors whenever I want to. And, after manipulating my pain receptors to give me a quick rush of endorphins, it can feel pretty good. Healing, easy. Pain, trivial. Any consequence for hurting me is moot. So. How do you plan on making me surrender?" 

The doctor didn't wait for an answer. He rushed at Pad in a zig-zag pattern, intent on slicing off his horn before Pad could cast the spell he was charging.

The blue unicorn chuckled at what the doctor was telling him. 'So, I was right. Not only that, but it's just like in the anime I saw. Which means that he'll be in for a rude awakening.' He hummed for a moment in thought, before shrugging his shoulders. "I can't really say as you've pretty much boxed me in." He winced from the nerve agent, but continued. "Although, I'm glad you told me all of that. I guess we'll see how much pain you are able to take." He blinked as the doctor rushed at the gaming unicorn in a zig zag pattern. He noticed his hooves were charged with his magic scalpels. "I-If you want to get my unicorn horn that badly, then you'll have to find me first." As he saw the doctor about to strike, the spell activated. The spell had a bright flash of light, before Dynamo split into several different copies of himself. They all dodged out of the way, before they all stood next to each other in a half circle. There were about 5 clones in total. The regular Dynamo in the center. On his left was clone 1, who had red eyes. Clone 2 stood next to them with purple eyes. Clone 3 stood next to the right of the original with green eyes. The fourth and final clone stood on the far right with gray eyes. "So, what do you think, Doc?" Clone one asks as clone 3 grinned. "I think this will even up the odds, wouldn't you say?"

"Am I seeing doubles? No, septuples? is that the word?" Topaz announced, "It looks like Dynamo has cloned himself!"

 

He must be desperate to pull a move like that in his state. He doesnt have enough energy to fuel seven bodies after the injuries he's been through. He'll burn out in no time. I just have to outlast him.

Patchwork stepped back and swung his front two legs to slice the nearest two clones. The reach of his scalpel was longer than it appeared, leaving a trail several meters from the edge of his hoof.

The clones looked to the original as Dynamo made sure to keep an eye on Patchwork. "Listen up, you guys. We're going for the big play." Clone 2's eyes widened at the mention of the plan. "Are you crazy? Remember what happened last time when you tried that spell?" Dynamo sighed at the memory, but nodded nonetheless. "I know, but we really don't have much of a choice here. In the state that I'm in, I need time to gather the energy necessary. So, I need some help, okay?" The other clones weren't so sure, but they knew how strong this doctor was. "You can leave this to us. We'll make sure to give you the time you need." Clone four smiled, to which Dynamo returned the smile. "Thanks, you guys." 

The clones noticed that Patchwork had a greater reach of his scalpels, which were aiming at two of the nearest clones. "Get down!" Clone 2 exclaimed, as he and Clones 1 and 4 moved out of the way. Clone 1 was lucky as the scalpel cut a bit of his mane. Clone 3 moved out of the way, but the scalpel grazed his shoulder. 'So he wants to fight long range, huh? Well, we'll just have to ruin his chances of moving.' Clone three charged his magic and created bright circles in a square around the original. He stayed close to the original to back him up, while the other clones did the same technique. Soon enough, the entire ring was covered in bright yellow circles. "How do you like our mine field and mine square? One wrong step and they'll explode on impact." He says, while the original Dynamo was charging up for his next and probably last spell of the match.

Jade had no idea where Dynamo was getting this energy from, but the fact he was able to do all of this made her anger subside in place of interest. She had battled somepony that used cloning before; it wasn't easy, or fun, but she managed to overcome it. After a few tries.

"This looks like a risky move," she muttered.

The doctor looked around at his surroundings, watching the mines appear around the original Pad.

Does he expect me to believe he can actually do this? After all the stress his body has been through? This has to be an illusion. If he was actually using this much energy with the neurotoxin in his veins, he would die of shock.

The Doctor's eyes widened as he looked closer at Dynamo's aura.

Unless... Could he really be using life energy? He's willing to die for this?

He looked at Rose, Jade, and Tricis with bewildered eyes.

But why? It shouldn't matter to him that his team wins if he dies in the process! How could he profit from that? No this has to be a trick.

He readied his scalpel and lept past the clones at the original Dynamo Pad.

Draco was now hidden within the foliage. He was watching his opponent. He smirked slightly as he slowly he was trying to kill his opponent.  He was quiet. He then found his opportunity as he leapt out quietly then attempting to stabbed the pony who chased him into the heart.

Rose sighed with relief when she felt a pulse. She quickly picked up Chem and started to head to the infirmary. The drugs shouldn't be that healthy, plus with what his teammate did to get a leg up

Dynamo kept his eyes closed as he concentrated on his last spell for the match. 'Just a little bit longer. I can do this.' He didn't have that much magic left as he split the remaining magic among the other clones. He knew his magic wouldn't be enough for this, so he chose to use some of his own life energy. As Patchword rushed past the clones, Clone three noticed the doctor and stood in front of the original. As soon as he came in close quarters, he used his hooves to grab the scalpel. The clone shouted in pain as the scalpel damaged his hooves. He gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes at Patchwork. "You will...n-not...interfere!" He knocked Patchwork's arms away and stood in front of the original. He got in a ready stance, despite the pain from the nerve agent and the damage to his hooves. Each clone could sense that the original was ready to finish the fight. Each clone nodded, before disappearing. Allowing their magic to flow back into the original gaming unicorn. He had about a quarter left of magic energy. It wasn't much, but it would be enough to end this. As each clone had gone back to him, Dynamo winced as the pain from the nerve agent had returned in full force. He found that the toxin had been split among the clones, so the damage wasn't as severe. He knew it was now or never. 

He slowly opened his eyes and looked at the doctor before him. "Tell me, Doc. You seem knowledgeable in the subject of science. H-How much percentage of the brain does the ordinary pony use? Also, have you ever heard of the s-saying, the body isn't able to move as fast as the mind can comprehend?"

The cloaked pony turned to the left and formed a shield of ice thick enough to stop the blade. "Where were you running off to in such a hurry?"

"What are you talking about? Every pony uses a hundred percent of their brains. Anything else is a myth." The doctor answered. With no more clones blocking him, he was able to attack Pad again, so he swung at Pad.

Cosmic shot Frozen a glare, so as to silence him. "That's besides the point! At any rate, I can tell when I see someone is powerless against my talents. Rose doesn't seem to be a threat and Jade doesn't scare me. We saw the fight you had yesterday. True, she's powerful. However, she poses no threat to me. If she doesn't know that you defected from the team, then there's no harm done, right? Out of sight, out of mind I always say." Cosmic and Frozen stopped in their steps as they noticed that Draco was just up ahead. "You're right that no introductions are needed. After all, we've seen how you two interact. His overconfidence and attitude will be his downfall." Frozen noted as they awaited for Draco to arrive. "So, do you have an idea on how to take this guy down? I'll need all the info I can get, so we can formulate a strategy."

Also be careful, I've seen him control tornadoes... last thing we need is to get sucked up in one and sent flying." Frostflame slowly approaches, "Draco O'mally!" Frostflame clenches his blade tightly and takes a defensive stance "You've made your last delivery, courier, such is the fate of those who stand against me. Remember what I said about not angering the wrong people? It would seem these assassins and I have more in common than I had originally thought." Frostflame takes a few more steps forward, watching Draco carefully "Surrender now, and I will grant you a swift and painless death." Frostflame glances at all of his allies, then back to Draco. He took one of his hooves off his blade, and into his bag. He reached for a special, small throwing knife, and slipped it under his glove.

The doctor seemed confused, so the gaming unicorn decided to capitalize on that. "Let me show you what I'm capable of. To fight for those that can't fight for themselves. To fight and protect those, who are important to me. To protect our beloved world for the one's that we truly hold dear. As well as those that you hurt." He saw the doctor was about to run up and swing at him. With nowhere to run, he knew it was time to fight back. As he unleashed his spell, Dynamo's eyes glowed a bright light, before he gave a mighty shout. The shout echoed throughout the entire stadium as His magic pushed everything around him back. His magic caused all of the mines on the field to explode simultaneously. Smoke had formed from the explosion, but after some time, the smoke had cleared away.

As the smoke had cleared away, Dynamo stood encased in an aura of magic. His eyes glowed a bright light, while his mane and tail started to stand on end. Electricity had sparked all around him. "The power to go beyond the limits that are stacked upon you. Mind Racer." At the moment, everything was calm. Dynamo could still feel the effects of the nerve agent were worsening, but he wouldn't let that stop him. "Now it's time to finish this fight. This is the end of the line because now we've reached the end game!" He didn't charge magic for a spell as he took a small step forward, before instantly vanishing. A spark of electricity crackling in it's wake.

"I'll take to the skies and inform you two on what's going on." Frozen stated, before taking flight. As he gained the aerial advantage, he tried to look for anyone fighting or signs for Draco. He wanted to inform Cosmic that he heard nothing, but stopped as he heard the sound of fighting. He flew in that general direction to see Draco, who was fighting the other cloaked member of their team. "Guys. I found out Draco's location. He's fighting the other member to our team. Their about 15 to 20 meters North of your location. Just hurry over here without being detected and we'll take him out." Cosmic grinned as Frozen relayed the message to the others. "I guess that's our cue. Let's get going." Cosmic says as he remembered to stay on the defense. As he rushed to the location, he glanced back to Snow. "So, how should we catch him off guard? Perhaps we should trick him, or try to do what I did before. Take to the branches and use some magic lasers to see how he reacts?"

Draco chuckled and said "Oh really?" Draco asked as he stood still lighting up a cigarette as silence befell the forested area as a gleam of silver was seen coming straight at the cloaked pony. Silent as death. It was headed for the pony's neck. While Draco pulled out daggers and threw them at the sky towards the smell of some pony in the air.

The blade was cutting through the ice like butter and Draco had a maniacal grin on his face. "We're far enough out from every pony else," Draco stated with a grin on his face. "And I have you right where I want you," Draco stated simply. "See do you know the Ursa major?" Draco asked as he gave a whistle.

The cloaked unicorn broke his ice shield in half and formed two leg weapons with it as he stepped back and listened for what Draco was calling.

The sound of hoof steps could be heard throughout the entire stadium. However, the source of the hoof steps were nowhere to be found. The steps were becoming faster and faster as a blur had sped past Patchwork. Without warning, a hit was dealt. A few seconds had passed, before another hit was dealt. Everything had stopped, before a tornado like vortex had formed around the doctor. Without warning, a flurry of punches and kicks were thrown the doctor in every direction. With each hit, there was a cut becoming visible. There was resistance as he felt Patchwork trying to hit him, but the blur was too quick.

As the onslaught came to an end, the blur had disappeared once again. Suddenly a punch was thrown as Patchwork's stomach as he was then kicked into the air. To those that watched, it seemed like he was floating with a levitation spell. To others that knew, he was kicked in rapid succession. The blur reappeared as there was a hit that sent Patchwork towards the ground.

Dynamo reappeared on the stadium ring as he looked on at the state of the doctor. "So, you wanted to make a ten count, huh? Well, too bad. I was still in the ring, but I'm moving faster than the eye can see. As for those cuts, I have wind spell that I added to my hooves. I thought I could return the favor as you were trying to hurt me with your scalpels." He closed his eyes for a brief moment, before opening his eyes and grit his teeth. He was just about out of his magic and he was about to his the limit of his spell. "This is the end of the line."

Dynamo disappeared again, but this time, he was right in front of Patchwork. An orb of energy had formed from his horn as he was preparing to fire a laser spell. "For you, this is game over." He roared as he launched his laser spell at the doctor at point blank range.

The chemist seemed barely alive as Rose handed him off to an official nurse. There was a Royal guard following her to make sure he always kept tabs on the prisoner.

"Is it okay if I can't exactly describe what I just saw?" Topaz asked, as dumbfounded as the crowd. "In just ten seconds we saw an unbelievable turn around. Some flashes of light. Some ragdolling. And now Patchwork is on the defensive!"

"Hmph, maybe now you'll start taking me seriously," Tricis said to Jade. "There's no greater advantage than being underestimated, and it seems our friend Pad is an expert at that."

 

Patchwork slowly pulled himself up into a sitting position. He was on his back with blood trickling from his mouth. He looked up at Pad as he charged to fire.

That's impossible! How could he be hiding a power like that?

"What... are you?"

As Patchwork got up into a sitting position, Dynamo looked at him with an unreadable expression. His look soon softened as he sighed. "I'm just a gamer, but it's more than that now. I'm here to protect what's important to me. If you're going to get in my way, then I'll take you down." He narrowed his eyes as he disappeared with a teleportation spell. He soon reappeared in front of Patchwork. He grit his teeth as electricity was crackling around his body. "This is the end of the line for you, Patchwork!" With one final and mighty roar, Dynamo launched his laser spell to Patchwork at point blank range.

As Frozen was keeping an eye on the battle, he didn't notice the dagger being thrown up in the air. He saw a flash of light, before being grazed by the dagger. As the dagger struck his wings, Frozen began to plummet to the ground. He managed to regain his flight, but he was too close to the ground to elevate his descent. He crashed upon a branch, but was still a bit away from Draco and their teammate. He checked his wings to make sure that he could still fly. 'He damaged my wing, but I can still fly. I just have to be careful or I'm in trouble.' He winced as the dagger did a good amount of damage. He chose not to contact Cosmic as he had no doubt that he would give away his and Snow and Cosmic's locations. 

Cosmic could hear something falling as he looked up to see Frozen was hurt. "What in the world just happened? How did Frozen get damaged like that? I didn't even see a move." He was perplexed as he looked to Snow with a look of concern. "We really need a plan of attack. If it was your teammate, then he's really showing that he can be threatening. Any bright ideas, Snow?" He wondered, but in his mind, he scoffed in anger. 'I can't believe Draco got Frozen. Even though I fight without thinking, we can't afford to make mistakes. That's what I think Frozen would say. Besides, we still need to get on Snow's good side in order to catch him off guard. Then we can try and finish Snow and Draco off and complete the mission.' He hid behind a tree as he peeked around the corner. He was close enough to see Draco was fighting against their teammate.

Draco smirked as his pet came to rest beside him who was now growling hissing. He looked at the robed pony and said with a simple tone. "If you kill me here be prepared for a dragon's wrath," Draco stated with a grin on his face. "I can smell you Snow," Draco stated loudly. "And the scent of another. Betrayal eh?" Draco asked with a laugh. "Disgusting of you," Draco stated he he shook his head. From his pack he pulled out a red necklace. He then cuts himself bleeding onto the gem which began to glow red. "Ancalagon the Black, Draco here, Yep surrounded again. Nah don't worry I can handle it but if I fall come here with black fire...Got it Lord Ancalagon," he stated as he threw his communication gem upon the ground breaking it. He'll grin with a maniacal smirk. "Traitors beget's torture," Draco stated as he began to actually levitate.

Patch crossed his front legs in front of him to create an energy shield, but it wasnt enough. The laser pushed him off the ring violently, crashing him into the concrete wall behind him where he landed in the grass with a thud.

"Unbelievable people! After being beaten on for the entire fight with no way to retaliate, it looks like Pad has summoned the energy for a ring out! The only thing left to do is start a ten count!" Topaz announced.

"WHAT!?" Big shot shouted, nearly pressing his face against the glass of his private booth.

"That was a pretty good one, there." Cumulus commented with a smile.
