They make these adorablee squee sounds and they look so damn cute. Attractive is not the word I would use if you mean it in the way I'd be attracted to a hot girl but yes, they are attractive.

Eh...Forgive me if I'm a bit prejudiced but when this topic comes up I can't hold my opinion back.

Personally I hate r34 in the strict sense of the word. I disapprove that people can "sexually attached" to ponies or any other cartoon characters but somehow I can understand. They are cute and adorable but not in a sexual way. (Well...my secret desire is...to be able to fondle Fluttershy...JUST ONCE!)

What is the problem with being sexually attracted to Cartoon/Anime characters?

I  didn't say it's a problem, It's just my personal viewpoint. Anime is an other story, I didn't even mention.

That is the best explanation for it. A+ to you.

Trying to find something sexy in that show is like trying to find a hardcore vegetarian in a hot dog eating contest.

No, ludicrous comparison... Finding something sexy can happen with anything, it's not even about choice here; finding a vegetarian in a hot dog eating contest is impossible though.

Cartoon/Anime is just one of the mediums of entertainment. There is nothing wrong with being attracted to fictitious characters regardless of the medium that delivers it.

Also people don't have to look at r34 too be sexually attracted to the ponies.(I'm not but like I posted earlier there are some instances they can be attractive to me.)

I'm guessing by attractive we mean sexy...

In that case, yes, but only when drawn in rule 34. I don't find the ponies attractive in the actual show itself, but when drawn with their stuff... I do. I see rule 34 as a completely different thing to MLP itself, even though I find myself attracted to say, Rainbow Dash when she is drawn in rule 34 situations, but not in the actual show.

Well.... yes... I know, I am one of those sick cloppers. :(

Beauty and attractiveness come in many different forms; there's nothing "sick" about being able to recognize one such form where others might not.
