My dad and brother hated liver when I was growing up. Oddly enough, my mom and I LOVE it.

I'm pretty sure my whole family hates liver. ^_^

I've noticed my family doesn't usually eat seafood, except for tuna. I guess it's just too slimy. I ate a boiled mussel once though, and although It didn't really taste bad in anyway, I just feel strongly repulsed by them now.

My family doesn't like anything with detectable flavor of any kind. I personally like fancy, spicy and unusual foods so it was really boring growing up eating what they liked.

The don't eat anything with onions, which to me is criminal.

My mom hates bananas. When she was a kid, she said she made a fool of herself by eating too many... and I guess it made her sick. Now, she won't even touch bananas or eat anything that has bananas in it.

My family hates frogs legs and silkworm but I like them both fried and would buy them once in while.

Anything with flavour or spice, apparently. Can't recall anything they hated but cooking variety was lacking, I found out once I left... It was no surprise I was kind of malnourished, I've been looking healthier since.

I was kind of a picky eater compared to now though which also stretched thinner any potential variety, whoops... but I think it's also because a lot of the food was cooked very blandly which didn't help perceptions, I use a fair amount of veggies in cooking now in interesting sauces without thinking about it.

I'm definitely on the boat of not touching animal organs at all myself, liver, intestines, all the sort, the smell alone makes me nauseous :pinkiesick:

My family (aside from myself) doesn’t like anything spicy, or anything with onions. They’re onion-phobic; if they even think there’s an onion in something, no matter how miniscule an amount, they claim they can taste it and feign sickness over it. Many times I’ve put finely chopped onions in their food that they didn’t know about and, being unaware, they were somehow just fine. And they can’t handle anything spicier than ketchup, which is crazy. I like to eat food I can actually taste so I grew up missing out on a lot of good stuff, but I’m making up for it now (oink oink).

My mom is the only one who will try anything at all new or interesting and she refuses to try any but the "standard" meats: Beef, pork, chicken, turkey. She's also a real wimp about spicy.
