Have the two of them ever directly spoken to each other in the show before? I know that Chrysalis and Celestia interacted with one another, and even got into a pretty awesome battle as well, but has Chrysalis ever even talked or acknowledge Luna before? 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dynamo Pad 11,417 February 28, 2019 Share February 28, 2019 I don't recall Luna and Chrysalis ever interacting before. I don't think Luna was present at the wedding in the season 2 finale. At least, not until the end of the episode when everyone was partying at night time. I also don't think Luna and Chrysalis interacted during the time of the season 6 finale. That is, unless you count Luna readying a spell to attack Chrysalis an interaction. All in all, I don't think Luna and Chrysalis have ever talked or acknowledged each other before. It feels like a missed opportunity, in a way. It would be pretty cool to see if they talked to one another. That, and have their own fight against one another. It would be cool if Luna could help Chrysalis in telling her that revenge isn't the answer. Seeing how Luna went through a lot, she would know all about revenge and how one shouldn't go down that path. It would be pretty awesome if the Princesses were able to help stop and/or save a villain. Think about it, A thousand years of hatred and anger at Celestia, and yet even after all those years, the strength of Luna’s heart prevailed and allowed her to accept forgiveness and somepony like Chrysalis, who’s also obsessed with revenge, maybe... just maybe could make her question herself... A thousand years had gone by and with the strength of her heart and the friendship of Twilight and the others. Luna was able to be brought back to who she used to be. At the same time, she was given forgiveness and clarity of everything that had happened. More like a new perspective as she tried to catch up in the times of the present. I can also see that Luna would explain to Chrysalis about the Tantabus that she had to overcome as other ponies were having Nightmares. Giving Chrysalis insight that while her way of gaining power and love was not right. It shouldn't hold her back from working towards a better future with Thorax and the other changelings. If this was all to happen, then this would make for a great villain reformation. That would be a pretty funny and crazy plot twist. I think Chrysalis did something like that with the mane 6 in the episode, "The Mean 6." When Chrysalis got a picture of Twilight and the others, as well as a lock of their manes. She was also disguised as a pony so she could gain the info she needed. So, it would make sense if she was in disguise, while randomly meeting up and talking with Luna. That doesn't work either for what I just said above: S6 Finale ending disproves it! And A Royal Problem proves Luna sleeps in the day so she slept through the Changeling Attack on the Canterlot Wedding. Chrysalis and Luna are NOT the same.
