Not feeling the best today, no, I haven't got a cold or flu, my health isn't the issue at the moment. However it's disheartening to be made aware of a friend who passed away, I mean I hadn't spoke to him for months since this happened and really this came at an unexpected time, he was still a fairly young adult, nowhere near pension age, and to be reminded of the impermanence of life just like that, well, it's not a nice feeling.

Yeah, another reason why I wished my MLP fan fiction could be true, so a part of everyone would exist indefinitely. My fanfic does involve the afterlife and reincarnation, as I am sure some of you already know. But fairy tales are just that, it's all they are. So if I ever finish my fanfic I don't advice anyone treat it like a religion or anything like that, that's not what it's for.

Value the life of family and friends while you still have them, as they are not going to be around forever.

In the end, we all end up in the same place, a graveyard.

Tonight I am feeling better. This morning was the bottom of this depressioner phase. However, this time I was not going through it alone. You all need to not undervalue the role you've played in making this less bad for me than prior times I had to do this alone. Since I came here it's been one of several new things I've been doing lately that help me.

I had a horrible nightmare. And, I'm not happy it happened. But...falling into the trap of unreasonable expectations is one of the worst things you can do to yourself. Bad dreams will happen. They are a part of nature.

Long story short, as bad as it was, I have successfully used it as a redline. A Picard moment, this far and no farther, the line is drawn here. I didn't do nothing. I did what I needed to do, never mind what. And for the rest of the day and into this evening, I'm snapping out of it. 

It's an odd world and a strange life. That doesn't mean it's bad. Who could have thought that MLP would be such a help to someone like me. The fact remains, it is. And for me, MLP includes all of you. So, thank you. Thank you. That's as much as words can do, words of course, fall short.

To me, MLP, especially Friendship is Magic, represents the more endearing personality traits people do share. Cooperation, forgiveness and learning to solve problems with empathy, not aggression. And there is no shame in being sensitive, that is a lesson I've seen shown with episodes where the other members accept Fluttershy for who she is, even if she is more shy than the rest of them are, at least they try to help her through her problems and even though Rainbow Dash can be the opposite of that, RD demonstrates her belief that no matter how cool she think she is, it's not worth losing a friend, I remember that Wonderbolt episode where RD was about to resign as a result of Lightning Dust's recklessness in needlessly making that tornado. RD likes her skills but not at the expense of the lives and safety of her friends.
