Your feelings watching the final MLP episodes

For me honesty, it makes me so happy watching the finale episodes to the show and how it reminds me of how much the show has built itself up till now and it's amazing fanbase, but at the same time, I feel pretty sad knowing they're the final episodes we'll get.:(

(Excelt G5 but I'm not getting into that now)

Tell me this isn't the cutest thing you've seen all day?

It was bittersweet for me. I liked the last couple of episodes enough and thought that were okay as a final send off, but at the same time, part of me felt empty that this was the very end.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Afterward I was emotionally decimated. In a good way. After nine seasons and not even realizing how important the show continues to be in my life I suddenly got a hard reminder. You never really realize how important something is until it's gone, and even though MLP isn't literally gone it was still an emotional realization of an absence I wasn't ready for. I really, really love MLP and I know it now more than ever.

It was very hard to watch- not because it was bad, but because of the emotional build up. I felt like I had missed out on so much. The main issue was is because I dropped out back in season 3 and then came back as the final episode came out. It was a shame I went so long without actually genuinely watching the show. It was heartbreaking that I missed out on so many amazing moments.

Unfortunately I cannot turn back time and I can take that as my own lesson as to not to feel like I should stop watching / doing something I love. You never truely miss it until it is finally gone, and then it's really awful. Gen 4 was something unexplainable and surprising that will never be able to be overthrown in my opinion- maybe because it came out of the blue and was such an amazing thing, you never knew what to expect.

Just my thoughts! Had to vent a bit.

It was pretty bittersweet mainly because I thought of all the fun times ive had in this fandom, all the artwork, fan animation, friends etc that have been created because of the show and the fandom itself made a tear actually roll down my cheek. Im greatly going to miss all of that and I do hope indeed that the new generations can bring back some of the magic that g4 did! :BrightMacContent:

Honestly, I prefer the first 3 seasons, where there were simple and interesting plots like "Too Many Pinkies" or "Mare Do Well" where the characters were nice. Unfortunately, after the Equestria Girls movie I stopped watching the show, but I remember watching the episode of Power Ponys and the Pinkie Pride episode (I think it was because I didn't know the transmission schedule), until 3 months ago I remembered the series that I saw as a child and I saw it again, I found several surprises that I did not like (like that Twilight really was now a princess) and with good things like Starlight. I may not like these last two seasons so much because of my emotional attachment to the first 3, MLP was a success in those years, but I think they did not know how to handle it and Hasbro ended up extending the series without giving a fixed direction to the plot or its characters. But anyway, there is also an occasional episode that I enjoyed season 9 like The Last Laugh and A Horse Shoe In, I think the only thing new and good since I saw the series again was Starlight Glimmer, whom I even came to love more than Pinkie Anyway, I missed about 6 years, but I can't go back in time.

It made me sad and happy at the same time. I need to pause a lot, because of the strong emotions. It definitely was an emotional rollercoaster and I'm glad it was a good ending for an amazing show. :kindness:

I cried a lot, I must say. Although I do think the Mane Six's older appearances reminded a bit of the ending of Harry Potter where they're given unconvincing makeup to make them older.  That blew over quickly with the last song, 'The Magic of Friendship Grows,' of course. And the book closing... :(:( I couldn't handle it.

I'm still not over the fact that FiM isn't airing new episodes anymore. I don't think I'll ever be able to accept it. There are times when I really do miss it a lot and wish that it would come back in some shape or form. Maybe someday...
