  1. I've never understood this point. The G4 series was primarily about teaching lessons (applicable in real life) to young children. And Season 8-9 were about cultural and racial diversity. How did you separate the show from reality when the characters were reciting lessons about friendship? When talking about the need to expand their empathy for other people? When a tyrannical dictator was overthrown to make room for a kinder one that valued individuality?
  2. That plant's effects can be tested empirically, and its methods reproduced through science. Pinkie Sense can't. What exactly is the similarity between the two?
  3. I think Rainbow Dash is an amazing character who's better when she's brash and unapologetically blunt. It's part of her honest and proud nature. And: I think Twilight behaves as any good skeptic/scientist should in Feeling Pinkie Keen, and the problem with the episode to me is that the moral espouses faith in nonsense without any concrete proof, while simultaneously deriding those that seek said proof. Despicable. Lots of other great things in that episode.
  4. As a fan of prettyboys, he is QUITE the prettyboy. Blue is always a lovely regal color.

It's lovely<3 I really would've preferred her snout to be a bit larger, but I won't complain too much! It's still free art, and it's still very well drawn
  6. This is inevitable, it's no doubt another show about teaching children valuable social lessons, like Friendship is Magic. And not only that, I'd say it's a good thing it's inevitable. Children are the demographic who most need stories like this.
  7. It's listed as "Awful", though. Something being bland but functional makes it Awful?
  8. I'm really curious what you think was bad about "Look Before You Sleep" of all episodes? It's a pretty inoffensive exploration of Rarity and Applejack's dynamic, showing how they might become friends
  9. Season 1 is my favorite by far, but Season 7 is a very close second. The Season 7 Finale was incredible and tied everything together in a brilliant cohesive narrative that nopony had any right to believe could be accomplished. It gave answers to questions that went un-answered for years, completed Starlight's character arc, had the most profound worldbuilding in the show... And that's only the season's finale. Season 7 also gave us Perfect Pear<3, To Change A Changeling, Triple Threat, Once Upon A Zeppelin and a host of great Glimmer episodes (A Royal Problem, Uncommon Bond, All Bottled Up).
  10. I have Netflix and it's where the ponies are (and where Gen 5 will be), so, it's pretty good.
  11. I believe myself to be a reasonable, caring person who's taking steps toward their ideal self. I wish I could be love itself. My strengths? I'm good with philosophy and debate, and I find giving compassion is easy. My flaws? My literal manner of speaking upsets some people, I have a hard time stopping myself when others don't want help, and I forget to turn the light off.
  12. I crave more ponies, of course
  13. This isn't a healthy or fair mindset to have. People are not omniscient. Nor are they omnipotent. Not even Celestia. If you're suffering, it is your job to make that clear, so that others can help you. It's shown in later episodes that Luna is quite terrible at communicating with her sister, and that's what needed resolved: communication. If Luna spoke about her suffering instead of acting out violently, this wouldn't have happened. But what did Luna do instead? She attacked, going so far as to say "My only royal duty now is to destroy you!". That's not reasonable. She wasn't reasonable. She's one pony in a world of (presumably) millions. Of course others care about her, but if she's hurting, she needs to say so.
  14. They failed to save The Storm King when they could've, I think that's pretty close. But then in Season 9 they actually DID kill Sombra. HIs face melted off, it was horrifying.
  15. It seems too early to predict, but I hope for romance. I'm a sucker for romantic stuff, especially the way MLP did it in Season 2 and 7
  16. There are some transgender individuals who are choose to be transgender: Those who aren't dysphoric and simply desire to have another identity than the one they're born with. Is that any different?
  17. Does it really matter why they identify the way they do? The more important question to ask is: Are they hurting anyone? I doubt that they are.
  18. I loved "girly" things all the time, yeah. I took a pink heart backpack to middle-school, watched a lot of shows for "girls". But I never saw the rationality behind separating entertainment by gender like that, anyway? Let people enjoy what they want to enjoy

Well, her eyes aren't skyblue in that image, she's wearing colored contacts in most art I've bought for her. For skyblue, I mean this color specifically: #87ceeb And for smiling, here's another image. I apologize for being vague the first time.

I wouldn't mind seeing somepony draw my precious pony Rapacity with her natural sky-blue eye color. The suit is completely optional, and I'd love for her to be smiling.
  21. I have forgiven people without reconciliation. Therefore, it must be possible. I would argue forgiveness is important no matter what benefit it has for the giving party.
