As we all know, it ended up being Yona who helped Rockhoof find his place as Equestria's historian of sorts. But his big issue was finding a way to fit in.. Something he'd be good at in the modern day.

Well why not have Gabby help? The pony who isn't good at anything anymore being helped by the griffon who's good at everything?
