general Things you hate in texting?

I hate when people are too lazy to type the whole word. Seeing things like txt, rlly, or ur bugs me to no end, and don't get me started on plz. I have a personal rule about that one: if you type plz because it's shorter than please, I'll type no because it's shorter than yes.

I hate when people type with mostly abbreviations. Example, fr, idk, lmk. I dont mind the basic ones and not be used often for every wording. But I hate it when people use them mostly for every wording in a sentence, where it's too much. Because most of them are new ones where I cant understand what they're saying. Like I just learned DTI is Dress to Impress game. Like just say the full name. Put some effort in your typing. I'm already struggling with grammar as is because this disability I have. So its a pain. It's also no help for themselves either when they do it because you're not putting effort at spelling things out if you keep shortening every word.

I also don't like when people keep using face emojis in every single message. There's a user on discord that would send messages to me and this :v face they keep sending in EVERY  message. I'm annoyed by it.

Another one is when people purposely talk like they're saying things in babyish way constantly. I get annoyed by it. Then I can't read some of the words and they take more time to respond.

Short summary, I don't like it when people get carried away.

is txt, text? And same here, I get annoyed by the shortening wording when it gets carried away.

I really dislike are accents, variations of the same word but with different meaning, just with a accent or without it, also, the same word, but with 2 parts of it separated meaning something different. In English these things don't exist so it's really fine for me. But in my native language it's full of them and for me that's annoying, there are literally 4 versions of "why" here and they all mean something different, doesn't make sense for me.

I just won't say that I also dislike abbreviations as well because it has been a long time since the last time I saw a intense use of abbreviations from someone, ultimately I've been seeing people typing words in their entirety, maybe that's because I don't use social media, and I rarely read the comments on Youtube and the sites I visit. i got used to the basic / moat common ones ~☆

One word or brief replies after I have written a long meaningful message to someone.

That and certain abbreviations as some make no sense at all.

The fact that I'm using my thumbs to type, and I'm always mistyping something because the bloody on screen keyboard is too small. :mlp_okiedokieloki:

Also I'm the more brainier people when it comes to grammar and punctuation, so anytime I see someone typing like every other generic Facebook teen, I'm always dissatisfied.

I hate the expectation that you are available 24/7 just because you have a phone. I've turned Seen statuses on messages off because sometimes I want to be given space to think of what to say without the pressure of not making someone feel like you're ignoring them - I frequently experience executive dysfunction regarding answering to people promptly... (this goes for here too so please don't take it personally if I take a while, sometimes it happens and socialising seems impossible )

I hate getting a text like “hello.” Or “OMG $6000 was just taken out of your account!! Click this link to cancel!!”

Who are you people? Leave me alone! >:0

other than that, I hate nothing about texting. Just another form of communication. O! No wait I hate when I speak derp speech to friends and then the autocorrect saves it and then I can never type the original word ever again because.. cursed forever! D:

Is my favorite ^•^ Very simple and straightforward expression of interest ^w^

No. Trust me. That was literally the first word @Luna the Great of all the Russias ever said to me and he regrets it. c: lead to an eternal forced friendship.

jk. No but on text there is this new scam going on where they simply say “hello” and you respond back because it is human nature to be curious and long story short they 1. Find out your number is active. 2. Act like it was an accident but they are seeking new friends, etc. Blegh! I just avoid strangers and strange numbers in general. D:

The worst part is that it is not even grammatical. They do not say “hello.” But rather just “hello” and THAT is worse than the scam! D:

just block!

Spoiler

Jk about the bad grammar but not kidding about the just block xD

So, the takeaway lesson here seems to be...
Text with: Hello. <-- eternal forced friendship.
Text with: Hello (no punctuation) -- SCAM!!!

See? I be doin' yew an educ8 :v

For me the only drawback of text messages is that I can't see the emotions of another person. It's good that there are emojis and you can show your emotion.

Phone keyboards are the absolute worst. I don't even have fat fingers but I have to correct almost every word in a sentence because it's so small.

If indont almsit every enseence will look lielbthis.
