Actually, I keep getting the sizes of the heads wrong.  They’re almost always a little too big.

Well I only do stalk market whenever i'm low money, but due to bell boom ordinance i have, i can make more money than usual. The only way i can make money fast is if i can make piles of cash and sell'em as a hot item so if you guys have pile of cash as a hot item in your store, lemme know.

Here's my island update, i cleaned up my island, but not fully just yet. I just need to get improved belongings which it will allow me to clean up without breaking the tools. Just as a warning for those that are trying to get a golden axe recipe, improved belongings is not recommended for it. Diminishing belongings would process this faster.

Sadly it's already past the peak; on Wednesday morning it must have been at the highest point but I sold my turnips at the second highest price on Tuesday night.

Thanks for letting me know; unless I get a price over 100, I'll probably resort to turnip.exchange.

Basically that's been my algorithm:

1) Buy turnips on Sunday

2) Try to get enough turnip price-points early in the week to see if I have a spike

3) If I have a spike (or a fluctuating price that satisfies me), sell on my own island

4) If I don't get a spike or a price that satisfies me by Friday/Saturday, then I go on turnip.exchange, find what I can get, even if it's not much more than 100 bells per turnip or so.

 

It's worked pretty well for me; I can't think of a week where I didn't turn some kind of profit with this algorithm.

If you do get a spike on Friday afternoon I might going to have to try to connect with you while on my lunch hour at work which should be either 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. my time 9:30 or 10:00 p.m. your time.

I'm going to use my phone as a USB hotspot to connect my Switch to the internet.

And I might have to make two trips because of the fact I have more than two full inventories of turnips

I have Celeste on my island and a heavy meteor shower---the dodo code is 2H640 3K7JP if you want to come.

The DIY cards will have to spread to the western shores, I'm afraid---I had a little too much going on IRL to put my island on turnip.exchange to have it cleaned out last week when I had the price spike, so...it's getting cluttered!  (That I tend to get even more bottles when I do boat tours doesn't help with that, either!)

Yeah i think i've noticed that when i got into your island and looked both sides, but it wasn't much since it came from my pockets so i have to donate more the next time you open the gates as long as me and my friend don't run into trouble on getting in and out of the island.

I think the only thing I don't like about the 2.0 update the addition of uninvited guests coming to your house especially when you're in the middle of redecorating the place and the game won't allow you to mess with the furniture while having guests over because "it's rude".

You know it would have been so easy just to add in a function to make it so you can allow or prohibit uninvited guests into your house. You can easily go to Tom Nook ask about your home and then discuss visitors to your home in which case you can toggle between allowing them or prohibiting them and Tom can in character spread the word about your choice

I never liked guests randomly showing up in New Leaf so it bothers me that they added this feature in New Horizons. I agree that it's frustrating to deal with when you're just trying to redecorate your house.

Well if you want them off your house, just give it a few mins or so and then walk out of your house. That's how i got these (or kicked the) uninvited villagers out of the house. it wouldn't hurt just to get their gifts and sell or store it.
