My favorite is either oak or the crimson stem, oak is so useful but crimson stem looks so cool

I tend to build by houses out of oak or birch wood, those are my favorite types. My most favorite type of Minecraft wood though is probably birch.

Birch is my favorite tree to look at in the game besides Giant spruce in the Taiga biome, but I think classic oak is my favorite to work with as actual wood blocks.

Spruce. I like the style of doors that it makes, and it's the perfect shade. Not too bright and not too dark.

Oak is probably my favorite since it's the easiest to get ahold of, but jungle is also nice since it's color is so saturated lol.

Last time I played Minecraft there was only one type of wood IIRC. So, I guess, the "original"...

I haven't used too many variety of wood (Oak, Birch, Dark Oak, Acacia) and I don't usually use/pay attention to the type of wood used (I play in a multiplayer world with siblings and one of them does most of the building), so I might not too much of an opinion. Though I do like using Dark Oak Doors, they look marvelous! 

As for the nether woods (have only seen them yesterday), think I might like the Warped. It has a nice shade.

I've always liked Spruce the best. I usually use it for wooden roofing.

I have not played a lot of Minecraft, but I do remember these different kind of woods in this game. I liked especially Oak and Spruce.
