I couldn't seem to find a thread on this already, although there is a high chance that one already exists.

So I was wondering, what's your most favourite Transformers TV series?

Welp, @Lucky Bolt you must have read my mind. Yeah, Transformers Prime was and still is my most favourite series ever (sorry FIM ). Must have watched it 5 times, and am planning to watch it many times again :BrightMacContent: It just worked so well as a series and to this day, I'm sad that there was no season 4. We were soooo close to seeing Bumblebee as the leader of the Autobots. It would have been fun to see how Cybetron was rebuilt without Optimus Prime.

I don't mind the series that came after it, but stuff like Robots in Disguise was aimed at a younger audience, and it kinda showed. The story lines were weaker, less interesting and bland and the characters like Bumblebee seemed to have lost a lot of what made Prime versions so enjoyable.

Beast Wars hands down.

That show was my jam back when I first started watching TV. No the animation doesn't quite hold up these days, but I can appreciate the effort for being the second ever CGI TV show and the characters, dialogue, fight scenes and score were all top notch.

Oh and David Kaye is best Megatron. Fight me.

Yeah, I must admit that it's impressive that it was the second ever CGI TV show.

Oh idk, I don't think any Megatron is better than the Transformers Prime Megatron. :Daydreaming: That's why I like the series so much. Megatron and Starscream were portrayed really well.

Oh they were indeed done well. Prime would be my second favorite series. They took what the original brought and improved upon it.

It's just that BW Megatron was a far more charismatic presence. Not just evil but someone who delighted in being evil.

It's been a while since I've seen the Transformer's series. The ones that I remembered and loved watching were:

- Beast Wars: Transformers

- Transformers: Armada

- Transformers: Energon

- Transformers: Cybertron

Transformers Prime. Don't care for the human aspect but I feel as though it did really well in exploring other sides to the characters, especially Megatron and Starscream.

I actually liked the human aspect as well. I really got to understand them and relate to them, more than I have to the humans in any other transformers series.

My favourite was Agent Fowler.

Animated. Seeing a younger, more inexperienced Optimus was a really fun and interesting take of the character, and the cast was really fun, and I actually liked most of the human characters. Still salty they cancelled after S3

To be fair there are six movies, so that should count as a series.

And yeah I like the movies as well, despite all the hate that the critics and most people give them. Sure, they aren't perfect but they still brought in billions of dollars and were awesome movies.

I've only seen parts of the original G1 cartoon. Some of it looks like fun and Peter Cullen voicing Optimus Prime is always awesome, but some of it looks very corny (I know it was the 80's, but still).

I've heard really good things about Transformers Prime though. I have it on my watchlist on Netflix. Need to check out the first few episodes soon.

As far as the movies go, I thought the first Michael Bay one was decent. It had entertaining action, great special effects, and a pretty good score. The sequels however I really disliked (Especially Revenge Of The Fallen and The Last Knight), but then came Bumblebee which I thought was great and had really good heart to go along with the entertaining spectacle.
