What things in Star Wars Scared You?

For me it was the Dark Horse published 1991-1992 comic Dark Empire.  Come across many panels as you can and don't tell me you're not afraid of Luke Skywalker, some weird friend Han Solo has, the World Devastators, Emperor Palpatine and his star destroyer:sealed:  Post here the scariest ones you can find and see if you and Scootaloo can go to sleep afterwards:mlp_pout:  There's also an audio drama that's hard to stay calm through with Luke at the beginning and what he encounters:mlp_blink:

Duuuuuuuuude. Memories are rushing back to me. I remember playing Shadows of the Empire on N64 when I was really young and having no major understanding of anything. Somehow I got passed the first level, don't remember how I did that, but getting to the second level introduced Wampas and those things are friggin' freaky! They terrified me when I was little. Not only are they big and they walk towards you all slow-like which was creepy on its own, but the lack of detail on them thanks to the N64 limitations actually added a lot to that creep factor. They are at least 50x scarier than the Wampa in Empire Strikes Back. I remember being so scared to go into certain rooms because these buggers were in them so I would open doors, see one coming towards me and I would back away, closing the door at the last minute.

For real, those things are spooky.

Never owed that game but my cousins did. I was young and I didn't understand why that creature was following me trying to hurt me like a zombie. Think of me as a seven-year-old thinking "That poor creature looks lonely. I should let him out. You're free strange, creature! Wait what are you doing? AHH. (I keep taking damage until game over). losing to that creature is one reason why I decided to become a gamer so I could learn friendly creatures from harmful creatures

Also, when I saw this in Theaters. Let's just say I wanted to hide under my seat.

Watching Anakin burning alive in Revenge of the Sith made me recognize my mortality pretty early on. As a result I regularly saw my school counselors throughout elementary school, along with later events having an impact.

In my case, the wampa taught me how to run away like a weenie. XP

Two words: Darth Maul.
I remember as a  8 or 9 year old being at my aunt house and she owns a lot of SW stuff and one of that is a Darth maul cutout board like this

in her basement.

Imagine, it was dark and the first thing you saw while going down there was THIS hiding itself in the dark. I literally believe that Darth Maul cutout was a real person. My first thought was “ GASP!! a demon waiting down to get me!!”. I didn’t  know who Darth maul was. Yes I actually gasped. Because my heart sank from this unpleasant surprise and couldn’t get myself to scream. I was petrified.  I even remember also see this door stopper plush like this

downstairs in the basement, thinking it was a giant snake working for that demon.

Ever since then ( after I grew out of it of course) I was scared to go down there or to any basement that’s dark. Ironically I remember being upset about my aunt not inviting me to see phantom menace when I didn’t  know there will be that demon in this movie! ah good times :ButtercupLaugh:

I still think he’s scary but the only difference is  now I also think he’s cool. B)
Even through this is savage oppress but when I saw this scene, it gave me this uneasy feeling.:sealed:

  • 2 months later...

Emperor Palpatine is pretty scary in every scene he has. That guy is so exquisitely creepy! But the immolation scene of Anakin in Revenge of the Sith always makes me feel crawly inside. It's really an awful thing to see. Cool, but awful.
