How you became a fan of My Little Pony

If I remember correctly it was because of a random YT recommendation back in summer 2015 (I was 19 at the time). I didn't really realise that MLP was a thing and had an adult fanbase before that. I think the recommendation was "Save Derpy" and I watched  "Fluttershy's Lament" as a recommended video after. When I watched Save Derpy I actually cried a little (I cry easily and I am honestly weirdly empathetic even if it's just an anime or cartoon or w/e) and was kinda surprised that this cute cartoon pony actually managed to hit me in the feels. After that I got curious when I saw other suggested videos with these pastal colored horses so I clicked on "Fluttershy's lament" next. Sure the quality wasn't the best but the song was catchy and cute and the complementing visuals made it just to adorable to be legal. After that I think I either realised by myself or through the video description that what I was watching was related to MLP:FiM... so the next logical step was... checking out the actual show. I was kinda ashamed to check out a show made for little kids at first (I think we kinda all were... or most of us anyway) but based on how much I enjoyed those 2 MLP related videos I just had to give the show a shot, if I hadn't liked it I could have just dropped it after a few episodes. 

Needless to say that I ended up liking the show ... like ALOT. When I got into MLP ... let's just say I wasn't in the best mood at the time (I think you know what that means) but MLP really helped and still helps me tbh. to get into a better mood when I feel down. When I was new to MLP, the Brony fandom and everything just thinking about MLP and it's wholesomeness and cuteness just flipped a switch from any mood I was having to absolute happiness. (I could be sad one moment and the next I think about MLP and it cheers me up so much that I almost uncontrolably smile) :pinkie:

Hi... I'm not good at introductions ... :sealed: ... but I'll try.
I'm Melody Cloud, I'm from Germany and 24 years old.
My favorite ponies (characters) are Starlight :yeahno:, Pinkie :mlp_ooh: and Gallus ( no emote T-T sad life).
I'm not really someone for RP but I do enjoy pretty much anything the fandom has to offer be it comic,fanart,music,animation or fanfiction (haven't read many fics so far though).
The main reason I decided to join this community now, after over 5 years of being a brony, is mainly because new pony content is harder to come by these days so while just being a quiet observer in the fandom watching fanmade content and the show was enough for me in the past I kinda want to engage a little more with the fandom now. 

I might even get into fanart or making pony content myself ... Knowing myself though I wouldn't count on me actually doing any of that though. (I am a lazy bum)
If any fanart were to happen I wouldn't be expecting much though my art skills are ... questionable :sealed: , but hey it would probably get better with time... :huh: 



Welp this was more me rambling on about nothing then an introduction :muffins: but it is what it is. Hope to get to know y'all and have some fun together. :mlp_pinkie:

I totally understand. Twilight singing about her BBBFF hit close to home. I was jealous and a bit angry when my big brother got married. My sister-in-law wasn't evil though, and now we're good friends!

Oh, and I cried happy tears when my beloved Twilight became a princess!

Actually, my oc has like a silver coat with brown mane, my lab coat (shirt) is also brown too, horizontal back socks with brown again and black stripes or sth like that (like my profile photo right now). As for my name, yes it is "Midnight" but there is a lot of Midnights. :ButtercupLaugh: Some ponies (players) calls me "Midnight" and some good friends of mine calls me "Danny". :grin:
