gaming Steam Summer Sale 2021: What are you buying?

With the 2021 Steam Summer Sale happening in 4 days at the time of this post, I figured I'd share what I plan to buy when it starts, especially since I loaded up on Steam Wallet funds in preparation:

- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - GOTY Edition

- Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2

- AMID EVIL

- BattleBlock Theater

- Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted + Curse of Dreadbear DLC

- Donut County

- Gorogoa

- Journey

- Sayonara Wild Hearts

- Half-Life: Blue Shift (While it's only $4.99 on Steam, the fact that the game is only 3 and a half hours long at most and doesn't add anything new means that I'm better off getting it at a deep discount.)

- Half-Life: Opposing Force (Definitely worth $4.99 price tag given its length, but I can wait for the sale to start and just get both Half-Life 1 expansions.)

- One Finger Death Punch 2 (The sequel has Steam Cloud support whereas the original did not.)

- Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 (Which I honestly prefer over RE5 and RE6)

- Terminator: Resistance (I haven't seen it go lower than $23.99, so at this rate, I might as well get it with all of the good things I heard about it. It's basically the Alien Isolation of Terminator games.)

- The Wolf Among Us

- Wild Guns Reloaded

Some things might be subject to change, but that's the gist of what I'm looking to get.

I have a rule that I do not buy games that cost over 10EUR. There are some exceptions to it, but it usually holds. Also, I do not preorder (there were two eceptions to that rule).

So, when the same starts, I'll probably go looking for something interesting, maybe I'll find some game, maybe not. Maybe "Epitasis" or "Aporia" will go down in price.

Oof. Sorry to hear that. Do you plan to get a new one in the near future?

Yeah. I’ll be getting my car paid off soon so that’ll allow me to save up for one.

I need to go onto Steam for more games.

I’m gonna get more, more and more games.

It depends on my brother since he normally gifts the steam games to me, but since i'm playing his games through steam shared library, that all depends on what games he will get regardless if it's on my steam wishlist or not.

I am not sure. I have Titanfall 2 and I may possibly consider buying Stellaris and Cities: Skylines DLCs. But I have reached the point where I have purchased so many games in past Steam sales that I do not have that many left I would like to purchase. And I do not play games as much as I used to as I have generally lost much interest (though not completely) in gaming.

Didn't really plan ahead for anything in particular, but I ended up buying Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and VVVVVV.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.
