I like the music within the fandom, and I love playing games with folk.

I'm currently learning how to use Flash 8.

 

I've never really been a part of a forum before.

But I feel like it's time to explore something new, y'know?

Oh, why Flash 8? Is there any particular reason why you choose a version number? Was it the last one, or the one used with the show maybe?

It was the only one I could actually find, ironically enough. But I can make do with what I have.

I think it is a good idea to learn Flash. Not because it is obsolete, but because it has the style that I want to stay alive. The new 3D stuff and the Toon Boom Harmony stuff are not as interesting to me.

Seeing as I grew up with Flash on Newgrounds as a young oblivious kid, I have a very fond memory of Flash. I can entirely agree with it being preserved.

They can still be ran via the 32.0 r0 debugger application.

There are also multiple groups trying to preserve its use on browsers and are doing well.

 

Flash can also be used to create animations still, as only support for viewing them on a browser/viewer was removed.
