What would be Equestria's response if this disaster where to Happen to Manehattan Island?

The Island effectively suffering the same fate as Atlantis. Earthquake destroys the city, then the continental shelf underneath manehattan gives way and the island sinks to the seafloor.

choosing this specifically since Manehattan is Pony New York and because this disaster occurs too quickly for any sort of evacuation to be organized. Manehattan sinking in less than five minutes

So what kind of ramifications would the sinking of Manehattan have on the rest of Equestria? what would the reliefs efforts be like

Given how few would survive such a catastrophe, I'm not sure how much relief there would be.

Residents who were off the island may be provided with temporary housing and recieve food and access to resource probably through charitable means.

Institution's may receive financial aid or be able to write off the loss of assets, but Equestria has already lost a huge tax source so this will but a strain on other areas of the country who now can't do business there either. Everyone would be impacted in some way, and the loss of so many would define the coming century.
