Smells in the garage

Stepping into my garage to take out the trash, I noticed the :wau:smells of new-fresh carboard boxes, junk mail envelopes, potting soil, old cardboard boxes, lawnmowers, small coolers, certain cleaning supplies, an old laundry detergent container and the scent from a rental car:yeahno:  Something that always happens when it’s warm:proud: or :yuck:hot outside.

During the winter, I can :huh:only smell the garage itself, probably the :oh_golly:floor or :Pharynx:insulation material.

Everypony, what’s the smell of :mlp_icwudt:your garage or B)garages you visited?

My garage doesn't really have a smell!  When it does, it's usually fresh cut wood

When we first moved into my parents latest house, it had a generic outdoorsy smell with a hint of tobacco. The previous owner made Ukuleles out of cigar boxes on the side, and there was a mountain of them in there.

When I moved out, it smelled like sawdust fron various projects and stale cat pea because we kept the litter boxes in there and didn't change them often enough. As a result, the cats just found a corner in the garage to do their business in, and it was nasty. They've done a big renovation since and the boxes are inside so that's gone now.

Right now it probably smells like woodchips from the garden and dry wall dust from the living room and kitchen remodel. Maybe still a bit mildewy from the flood.
