Random circles scare me~

So @Princess Silky saw a comment I made about how I'd make these emojis differently if it were me. Something that fits the aesthetic of the old emojis. But I don't know. Suddenly the first round doesn't seem so bad.

What does everyone think? Here's an example of my work next to the original:

  

I can't help that the cartoon models had been-shaped heads. It does look a little better with the mane, but that's not how the G4 emojis were made. They had their manes and ears removed. The G4 designs just lends itself to a circular shape better.

Manes are such an iconic part of ponies' designs that in hindsight, it feels weird to me to have left them out of MLPF's original emotes (I wasn't especially involved with them in the first place though and we all found them cute, fun, and cool at the time, so I don't say I regret it either). I know they're unique to this site and some may consider them iconic but if I could go back and do it all over again, I'd want to have them designed in a way that prominently includes every pony's mane.

So, I'm all good with seeing manes in new emotes personally. I wouldn't mind retroactively revisiting the old ones and making a new alternate set that includes manes either.

Did you make your emotes there by editing TYT screenshots or did you draw them from scratch?

I vote Rikifive be in charge of making the G5 emotes. This looks way better. And also, I vote all the emotes from Riki's profile page be upgraded to official emojis.
