Even in worst case scenario you can just say "It's nice series" and act like it's not a big deal, as it isn't. All the unnecessary shame and fear just stresses you out and undermines the relationship you have with your parents if you feel like you need to hide something about yourself from them. So you can do yourself a favour and have a pony desktop, if he asks, (assuming he even will give a crap of something so mundane) you can give a simple short answer and be done with it, him none the wiser.
