I have a harder time on mobile too, I prefer keyboard.

Yup yup, PC, phone, tablet and whatever else can run an internet browser smoothly enough~

Before you look at my scores, I just wanted to mention that It's been a while since I've actually gamed myself and that I'm rusty. But THIS is still not scores that I'm proud of! That is no justification for this! I'm ashamed to have to say this but… It's all of the iPad's fault! Not mine! It's an old iPad so it's not like it can do basic things like go to full screen mode on that game! Or avoid changing angles every 10 seconds and making the screen go blue and then back to normal every seconds! I'm so glad to not suffer from epilepsy because that game would have killed me! In other words, I wasn't playing a game like any other members of this community that posted the screenshots! I WAS IN A FIGHT AGAINST THE MACHINE FOR GLORY!!! Did I loose? Yes! But I maintained my honor! Actually, I didn't, due to my horrible score. But what can you do when the iPad use it's ultimate attack 5 times per music! And this ultimate attack being to completely freeze the screen of the game until I stop pressing which is a problem since I need to keep pressing until I reach the end of the long button! Meanwhile the music keeps playing and I loose points, while pressing on the ghost of a button! Now you may ask yourself why I didn't use my phone! Well, the answer is simple! My phone is a Samsung and it refuses to take screenshot, when I'm on the internet! You probably see why did is a problem even bigger than all the problems of my iPad combined! I really need to change either my phone or my iPad… 

Here's the terrible screenshots that I wanted to burry deep under the ground and then build an house on top of it which would be haunted by the ghosts of my past :

My phone is 2022 ans I can't go fullscreen either lol, this game is unplayable on mobile. Didn't evsn bother with my old ipad... That said, good work considering the platform :>

This game is ahead of it's time and our current weak technology isn't capable of running it in it's full glory.

Heeeeey~ nobody is judging the scores, so take it easy~  It's just an event for fun, not championships.

Given the inconveniences you've experienced, you did quite well actually!  

If the game works better on your phone, let me just mention, that playing on phone and taking photos (or recording videos) of the results screen using ipad or any other camera would count as valid submissions towards the badge. It doesn't have to be a screenshot - I did mention photos are accepted, as long as the information remains at least somewhat legible.

 

The issue with fullscreen you and @Azure Dawn have mentioned though... That's interesting, so I did some research.

It turns out it's just Apple's skill issue. Apparently fullscreen mode (on anything other than videos I presume) either is not supported at all, or is badly implemented if it does. The documentation does mention, that there will be problems with fullscreen on browser games on iPhone and iPad:

In short, it goes like this:

• someone: made a topic asking for fullscreen support on apple devices
• apple: it is already supported
• someone: BUT IT DOESN'T WORK!
• apple:  
• people: bruh what are they doing!
• apple 3 years later: ok we did something, try it out
• people: it works, but it's wonky!
• people after a while: and now it's not working again
• people: WHAT THE HAY APPELELELE!

 

I can't really find any solid documentation on this matter. It's always "partial support" mentioned at best, with varying info based on user experiences. Perhaps I could experiment to see it for myself, but unfortunately I don't own any apple devices to do testing on. 

TL;DR - It's not that your devices are old, it's just Apple's problem overall. Even if perhaps the newest apple stuff do support it, there would be problems with it anyway.

 

@Azure Dawn is your phone an iPhone by any chance? 

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I don't know if I can do anything until apple decides to adjust stuff on their end.

guess i do them again later, doubt saying one was in the 30% area and other in the 50% area counts for the badge XD well people apparently got over 10% with minus points, so not gonna be hard getting it done again, maybe better XD (And save the pics and upload them instead of copying screenshots, lesson learned!)

Yeah, I apologize for the inconvenience, but I'd like to be strict on the rules this time.  Last time to avoid troubling users, I turned a blind eye on submissions that lacked something. Afterwards, I noticed more and more users started approaching it lightly, but at that point, it wouldn't be right of me to point it out after accepting previous submissions. So now I'm trying to keep it tidy.

Sorry for making you play that awful game again, but on the bright side, that 10% requirement is pretty much just symbolic here - it exists only to prevent users from making it a waiting simulator and posting 0%, rather than posing a real challenge.  I'm not asking for much. 

 

Plus, I'm planning to add lower difficulties soon, and perhaps extend the event by one week if there'll be a need.

What do you get when you combine a 100% lack of experience with rhythm games, a near-total inability to keep up with the songs, a tendency to hit the wrong keys no matter how they're set, and a love of EG-centric music? Two examples of casual failure! >^_^<
