"I guess a magician never reveals their secrets, or would that be a unicorn never reveals their secrets? I guess it could be an argument for both, but then I'm not entirely sure." Dynamo wondered aloud, placing a hoof to his chin in thought. "Oh! Maybe this is a part of Shiny's potential performance for the Goof Off!" With a snap of his hoof, Dynamo grinned in excitement. "At any rate, I'm really looking forward to what you and Croissanto have in mind, Shiny!"

"I wonder who else is here" she absent-mindedly says out loud. She spots @Shiny Silvermoon playing with a puppet, probably practicing... As long as she doesn't go crazy and freeze everyone... "I already have cold-hooves, I don't need them to actually be cold." Titanium pauses, wondering if that's a line she could actually use... "That was terrible... I'm going to need more drinks." She turns back to the table and grabs another cider.

Seeing Titanium's wave, Dynamo nodded a soft smile as he added Titanium to the list. "Sounds like a plan and I and everyone look forward to what you have in store to the Goof Off." He says, tilting his head slightly at the mention of terrified. "Titanium? Are you okay? You're not feeling nervous are you?" He asks, but his question would not be answered as Titanium had left for one of the stands. Rubbing the back of his neck, the gaming unicorn took a deep breath and sighed. "I really hope that Titanium is okay. I know what it's like to be nervous, but hopefully that everyone's performance helps out. I know that the Goof Off is all about having fun and having a good laugh together with the crowd."

Skylight asked.

"You can say that again as it feels like it's been forever since we last saw each other. It feels like yesterday, but then I feel like our last meetup was much longer." Dynamo chuckled as he was always glad when he could meet up with Sky. "I'm glad to hear that you're doing good. It sounds like you've been busy as I remember you said magic, statistics and comp science go hoof in hoof. I remember learning a bit about that in school here and there, but it still sounded a bit confusing. Granted, science was a fun class from the experiments we could take part in." He sighed with a smile as he felt nostalgic. "Ever since the race, I've been busy running the arcade and traveling for tournaments competitions. It's honestly been fun and the moment that this month was upon us, I knew a Goof Off was to be had. Especially after learning of the numerous stories of different Goof Off competitions, I thought that we could have our own spin on things."

"...But hay! Since you asked, there are a few variations of a ball cap. Most have a round or tapered dome. Great for kids, but not always so great for adult ponies with bigger heads. Fully domed just means the dome, or crown, is more full. Typically, you see full domes on trucker hats, but you can find them in a number of sports caps. And by the way, do you like a flat brim or a curved brim? Everypony has their own preference on that." Trilby begins to rattle on. Once someone gets him talking about his passion for hats, the flood gates open!

"Hmmm...I do remember going to Las Pegasus for a tournament, but I'm not sure if we met. I think it was for a Ponymon tournament. The issue was that there were a lot of competitors that took part. Did you happen to make any announcement. I think I remember that Zelda Con. I think I was dressed up as Link from Twilight Princess." Dynamo wondered, while Trilby had patted him on the head. "I completely understand as you're more than welcome to sit back and enjoy the show. Although, I guess advertising would be okay. I don't think I've hosted events that had advertising before, but I guess there's a first for everything." Dynamo wasn't sure what kind of advertising that Trilby had in mind, but he thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a go.

"Oh, I see. That sounds interesting with how a fully domed hat works. I'm okay with the hat I've got, but I'll definitely keep your hat options in mind. Thank you for the offer, though, Trilby. It also sounds like you are into many different hats. Reminds me of all the different video games there are out there and how much fun they are to play." He smiled, admiring the passion in the unicorn's craft of hats.

As a bright light appeared out of the corner of his eye, Dynamo had turned to see a portal appear out of nowhere. Appearing from the portal was a familiar face in Anarchylight. With a grin, Dynamo waved as he called out to them. "Anarchylight!" As he made his way over, he took notice of another individual that was with them. "It's good to see you again. It's been a while since we last met up. I think it was during The Running of the Leaves. I hope that you've been doing well. Also, I don't think I've met your friend. It's nice to meet you, as well? I hope you don't mind me asking, but what's your name? My name is Dynamo Pad, but my friends call me Dynamo. Also, by any chance, would either of you two be interested in taking part in The Big Goof Off?" He asks, presenting them with the clipboard of names that were already on there.

As he continued to scan the crowd for any other participants that wanted to take part, he took notice of @Wizard Titanium, @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny and @Skylight Scintillate Skylight, who were joined by a bat pony. A bat pony that Dynamo recalled all too well. "Hey, Moonlight!" He called out to @Nitobit Moonlight and the others as he made his way to the group. "It's really good to see you again, as well. How have you been doing? I remember seeing you stopping by here and there in Ponyville. Are you also taking part in The Big Goof Off, by any chance? If so, then there's plenty of opportunities to join in on the fun!"

Trilby looks around at all the contestants, surprised to see so many. Some seem to be traveling long distances. Some seem to know each other. And one of them has a... talking croissant? "...And now I'm hungry again." Trilby comments to himself.

"Eeyup! I still got to work hard to be the best, like no one ever was~!" Dynamo started, before ending in a sing song-like voice. "Uh oh. I think I got that song stuck in my head again. Worth it!" Dynamo chuckled as he turned his attention back over towards @Samurai Equine Trilby.

"I get all of the talent? I don't think I understand what you mean. I've never made a hat before, but I know my talent is in video games." The gaming unicorn tilted his head in confusion, while being unsure of Trilby's words. "You're welcome and I look forward to working together. If you need me, I'll mostly be on stage or backstage for the Goof Off. I might take you up on that offer with a halftime show if it's needed. If you have anyone else that might be interested in the Goof Off, then please be sure to let me know. I'll be more than happy to discuss it with them and place them on the list if they are interested." Dynamo nodded as he waved off Trilby, who had gone to explore the rest of the venue.

"Blinking in surprise at the sudden response, Dynamo had turned towards the source to see that it was @Shiny Silvermoon Croissanto. "I'd be surprised if the banana wasn't for eating, but I think I understand what the plan is. As long as nopony gets hurt, then I'm okay with this being a part of the show." Dynamo says, pondering on the thought as he placed a hoof upon his chin. "Shiny does make a fair point in this. You never know when the banana will be there to protect you. Especially if you're running and need a quick getaway. I guess you can see the appeal of the scenario." He chuckled as he gave a pun. It may not have been the best kind of pun, but it was a pun he felt proud of. Upon hearing @Skylight Scintillate Skylight's response, the gaming unicorn gave a tilt of his head in uncertainty. "I wouldn't say that. At least from what Shiny and Croissanto were talking about. It sounds like a group effort for this year's Goof Off competition. One that I'm all for if it's all in good fun!" He grinned as he grabbed the microphone from the stand on the stage. All before levitating it over to himself in a levitation spell. With a cough to get everypony's attention, he spoke.

"Attention, everypony! May I please have your attention. There's still time to sign up for the Big Goof Off competition! After making his announcement, he began making his way back towards the stage so he'd be easy to spot to ask to sign up.

As he was nearing the stage, Dynamo's ears perked as he heard his name being called. Stopping in his step to turn towards the source of the voice, he smiled as he was greeted by both Anarchylight and the now known Commander Zhabik Klavik. "Hey Anarchylight! Hello to you, as well Commander Zhabik! It's really nice to meet you." He smiled, tilting his head in slight confusion at the mention of the country they were from. "I don't think I've heard of Garry's Mod before, but for some reason it sounds familiar at the same time. I wonder if I can visit it in my travels someday." He smiled as he showed the duo the clipboard with names on it. "Oh, by the way! Seeing that you're here, does that mean that you're interested in taking part in the Big Goof Off? We're still accepting members and we'll be starting soon."

Titanium swivels to face yet another new voice, she bounces a little to the beat of the attempted song "You know, I think I've heard of that, too! It was sung by Songbird Serenade! Fantastic song, but I think you're missing 'Titanium' from that song" She giggles to herself, trying not to give away that she knows all of the lyrics off by heart.

He grinned as he grabbed the microphone from the stand on the stage. All before levitating it over to himself in a levitation spell. With a cough to get everypony's attention, he spoke.

"Attention, everypony! May I please have your attention. There's still time to sign up for the Big Goof Off competition! If you wish to sign up, please make your way over to me and I shall write down your name! We will begin in a few more minutes, so please don't hesitate to sign up if you wish to take part!" After making his announcement, he began making his way back towards the stage so he'd be easy to spot to ask to sign up.

Titanium freezes at the sudden announcement by @Dynamo Pad "Oh boy... Here we go... Not... Long... Now." She mutters to herself, her legs trembling slightly at the thought of performing, well, anything. But she knows what she planned, and once it's over, it'll become a funny story to tell over the campfire. She reminds herself that she's faced worse than a crowd, but finds little solace in that thought. 'That was in the past' she thinks, 'That's over, done, this is something I have yet to do.' She realises she's been staring for the last minute or two and shakes her head as if trying to shake loose her fears and anxieties. "Nuh uh, you're not a chicken, you've painted in front of ponies, this isn't any different. Just... More ponies." She moves towards the side of the stage and places a few items she will need for her performance near the entrance; some poles and a large sheet, a few buckets of paint, and 2 stools. "That should do it" she says to herself, checking everything over one last time. "Now... I just need a victim..." Titanium smiles to herself, knowing exactly who to bring on stage with her...

Dynamo was uncertain of the location, but the way the duo described the masks had made him more curious. Upon hearing that more would arrive, the gaming unicorn raised an eyebrow in both surprise and wonder. "There will be more joining you? Excellent! I'll be sure to add them to the list and say that it's a group performance. I look forward to seeing what the Official Unofficial Equestrian Commedia Company has in store." Dynamo grinned as it sounded like a group performance was in store.

Levitating a book from his nearby saddlebag, Dynamo flipped through the contents until he reached his desired page. "A big thank you to Princess Twilight and Starlight Glimmer for allowing me to borrow this book. As stated in the Official Goof Off Rulebook, page 33, subsection b, paragraph 4. All of the competitors have free range when taking part in the goof off. Be it singing, dancing, playing, prancing, joking or performing. To make the audience chuckle, chortle, giggle, guffaw, hoot and holler, whoop it up and party down." Tuning the book to a close, Dynamo had smiled as he raised a hoof to the air. "Essentially, it's all about having fun, making the crowd and your fellow competitors laugh and to have as much fun as possible. Rushing over towards the backstage, the gaming unicorn made sure to roll out what looked to be a familiar party cannon. "Now, I'm not someone that is good at telling jokes, but I am sompeony that loves puns. Although, I think I'm going to skip the puns and jokes and go straight the part where I throw pies at everypony in the crowd. Thankfully, I don't have pies, buuuuuuuut...nopony said anything about using a patented pending party cannon!" Getting behind the party cannon, Dynamo grinned as he pulled the string on top as batches of cake frosting had been launched. All the while, a light rain of cake frosting could be seen falling overhead where some audience members had some cake frosting on them. Many laughed, while some enjoyed the free treat of cake frosting. "Now that I've got eveypony all warmed up, I'd love to welcome you our host for tonight. She's your go to party pony, the mare extraordinaire, the super duper party pony and the queen of laughs! Give it up for....Pinkie Pie!"

As the announcement had been made, a giant cake had slowly been rolled from back stage to the center of the stage. At first, nothing had been happening. That was until the name 'Pinkie Pie' had been uttered, as well as the multiple nicknames that the pink party planning pony had been known for. The cake had begun to move, almost as if it was going to explode. Before anyone could react of question it, the cake had exploded. More and more frosting had been rained onto the crowd. Out from the cake, a pink earth pony, covered in frosting had made her appearance known. "Helloooooo, everypony~! It's your host Pinkie Pie, welcoming you all to this year's Big Goof off!" She exclaimed, hopping all over the place as she was super excited to be hosting this event. "I want to give a big shout out to Dynamo Pad for the idea to launch some delicious cake frosting to the crowd. Since I'd be in the cake, I needed some assistance getting started. Now a Big Goof Off like this would probably need my giant party cannon, Big Bertha! Although, I think we can have more exciting moments to come! I guess jumping out of the cake is one way to take the cake" She giggled and snorted at her little pun, before directing her attention towards the crowd.

"Now, then. I know what you may be thinking that Goof Off's are serious business. I can guarantee you that this Goof Off will be the most, incredible, amazing, super spectacular Goof Off in Equestrian history! I'm talking laughs, randomness, silliness, fun, fun fun fun and more fun to be had! Did I mention fun!? Because I most certainly heard fun!" Pinkie grinned, while Dynamo had levitated her the list of participants that were taking part in the competition. "We have some amazing participants this year and I think we should let some of them take the stage to show you what laughs and fun they have in store for us all. Let's put our hooves together as we welcome our first contestant and her croissant companion. @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny Silvermoon and Croissanto!!!" She announced, joining Dynamo backstage as she hopped away. Allowing the first contestant to take center stage.

*Immediately after hearing her name and Croissanto's, Shiny Silvermoon made her way to the center of the stage. She pushed the remains of the giant cake aside to land a wooden stool. Then, the mare sat on the stool and brought the microphone closer, with her magic.*

Shiny : "Thank you, @Pinkie Pie and @Dynamo Pad! And greetings, everypony! For those who don't know me, my name is Shiny Silvermoon and this is Croissanto! Our performance will be in the form of a comedy show!" *The unicorn introduced herself, as well as the puppet she was holding.*

Shiny : "And to make sure that our show is hilarious, we made the preview in front of a famous humorist : Maud Pie!"

Croissanto : "That's right! We rocked her world without any doubt!"

Shiny : "I can't believe that we almost saw the corners of her mouth stretch upward! I've never seen her so sedimental before!" *The pony with a silver mane added with a cheeky grin.*

Croissanto : "We should begin the show ore the other participants will keep waiting for their turn! I think you wanted to start off with a story which truly happened to you, right?" *Croissanto being equally smug.*

Shiny : "Indeed! I was on a very important mission given by the one and only Princess Silky! My goal was to retrieve the elphenite usually wore by her like an amulet-" *The mare began to narrate the story to the crowd. But she was interrupted by her croissant-shaped puppet.*

Croissanto : "What in Equestria is an elephantine?"

Shiny : "You mean an elphenite! I didn't really knew much about it either! All I knew is that it was a green gem and that it was hidden in the Canterlot Castle! However, I wasn't alone on this mission! Moonlight Wane and Skylight Scintillate were there to accompany me on this journey!"

"Together we managed to infiltrate the castle without getting caught. It was until I found myself face to face with a royal guard. I awkwardly stared at him for a few minutes, as I tried to find the right words. The success of our quest, as well as our freedom, depended on the next words coming out of my mouth. What I said to the royal guard is..."

*Shiny remained silent for a few seconds, in order to let the suspense build up. Even Croissanto's glass-made eyes were hanging on her lips.*

Shiny : [German accent] "We tourists from Ger-mane-y! We searching for bathrooms and got lost in you castle! Ya!"

*Croissanto was speechless, he didn't know how to react. He was presumably wondering if Shiny was related to either Scooby Doo or Shaggy.*

Shiny : "Then I said to my campanions : Pssss! Guys, I think I've convinced him!"

Croissanto : "Oh Shiny! You'll never cease to surprise me! On another topic, I came across a childhoold friend, the other day! A bipolar baguette who grew up with me in the same bakery." *The croissant-shaped puppet changed the topic of the conversation.*

Shiny : "Hey! I also have a bearpolar friend!" *Shiny beamed happily.*

Croissanto : "A bipolar friend, you mean!"

Shiny : "No, he's a bearpolar! One day, he's the best friend in Equestria and, the next one, he could eat somepony!"

Croissanto : "That's what I said! He's a bipolar!"

Shiny : "No no no! My friend is a- Fine, give me 2 seconds." *The mare then left the wooden stool and went to the backstage. She quickly came back with a framed portrait.*

"AH!" In a split second reaction, Trilby shuffles his hat away, replacing it with an umbrella hat. He opens it up just in time to make sure it protects him from any falling pieces of cake. "Phew~ Was not about to let THAT ruin one of my good hats." Trilby says to himself as he sighs with relief.

Trilby makes sure his mic is clean as he gets closer to Pinkie. "What a surprise! The famous Pinkie Pie, element of laughter and co-savior of Equestria many times over. Pinkie, will you be here to judge this competition with me and Dynamo? Not going to lie, we have quite a large number of participants tonight, and so the competition seems rather steep. I've all ready seen how promising they are before the show began. This Goof Off is gonna be gooooooooood." Trilby says, excited and looking for more of Pinkie's insight.

Shiny : [German accent] "We tourists from Ger-mane-y! We searching for bathrooms and got lost in you castle! Ya!"

*Croissanto was speechless, he didn't know how to react. He was presumably wondering if Shiny was related to either Scooby Doo or Shaggy.*

Shiny : "Then I said to my campanions : Pssss! Guys, I think I've convinced him!"

Croissanto : "Oh Shiny! You'll never cease to surprise me! On another topic, I came across a childhoold friend, the other day! A bipolar baguette who grew up with me in the same bakery." *The croissant-shaped puppet changed the topic of the conversation.*

Shiny : "Hey! I also have a bearpolar friend!" *Shiny beamed happily.*

Croissanto : "A bipolar friend, you mean!"

Shiny : "No, he's a bearpolar! One day, he's the best friend in Equestria and, the next one, he could eat somepony!"

Croissanto : "That's what I said! He's a bipolar!"

Shiny : "No no no! My friend is a- Fine, give me 2 seconds." *The mare then left the wooden stool and went to the backstage. She quickly came back with a framed portrait.*

Shiny : "My friend is a BEARPOLAR! One day, he's the best friend in Equestria and, the next one, he could eat somepony!"

Croissanto : "I can't bear much more of your nonesense! Intermission, please!"

*Shiny Silvermoon (and Croissanto) bent in front of the crowd, while it was applauding the duo, before leaving the stage. It was now somepony else's turn to shine under the spotlights.*

Trilby is at first left speechless. But then he has to put his mic away and turn his head so that he can laugh his heart out. He even has to lean against @Dynamo Pad just to keep from falling over. But eventually, he puts on his good hat again, waits for the audience to have their reaction, and then begins speaking. "Well I think I can speak for everypony when I say, that was a FANTASTICALLY hilarious way to open the Goof Off. I don't know what it is about Shiny and her talking croissant friend, but I haven't laughed this much since I saw a comedian wearing a Trilby's brand rainbow wig. ...That's right, Trilby Hatter's Headwear Emporium also sells a line of wigs, the perfect reveal to go with our hats. But don't take my word alone. Dynamo, Pinkie, what were your thoughts on the first act?"

Croissanto : "That's right! We rocked her world without any doubt!"

Shiny : "I can't believe that we almost saw the corners of her mouth stretch upward! I've never seen her so sedimental before!" *The pony with a silver mane added with a cheeky grin.*

Croissanto : "We should begin the show ore the other participants will keep waiting for their turn! I think you wanted to start off with a story which truly happened to you, right?" *Croissanto being equally smug.*

Shiny : "Indeed! I was on a very important mission given by the one and only Princess Silky! My goal was to retrieve the elphenite usually wore by her like an amulet-" *The mare began to narrate the story to the crowd. But she was interrupted by her croissant-shaped puppet.*

Croissanto : "What in Equestria is an elephantine?"

Shiny : "You mean an elphenite! I didn't really knew much about it either! All I knew is that it was a green gem and that it was hidden in the Canterlot Castle! However, I wasn't alone on this mission! Moonlight Wane and Skylight Scintillate were there to accompany me on this journey!"

"Together we managed to infiltrate the castle without getting caught. It was until I found myself face to face with a royal guard. I awkwardly stared at him for a few minutes, as I tried to find the right words. The success of our quest, as well as our freedom, depended on the next words coming out of my mouth. As Shiny and Croissanto took the stage, Pinkie made sure to keep an eye on both the participant and the crowd. Sure, she was a host alongside Dynamo in the Goof Off, but she was someone that couldn't resist in watching the fun. It wasn't until she heard her sister's name, that Pinkie gave a loud, audible gasp. "MAUD!?" Was her only response as the party pony, who was backstage, was gone in an instant. The next moment, the crowd could see her center stage with a bag of popcorn in hoof. "Oh! I just love it when I listen to Maud's puns at comedy night!" Pinkie grinned, snickering and giggling up a storm from pun after pun. "So many rock puns. It's puns like that I know Maud would be truly proud of. She'd be rocking and rolling with pride." Pinkie giggled once more, getting into the numerous puns. Her popcorn flying out of the bucket container she held on hoof from her constant laughing. "Ooooooh~! A bearpolar! I wonder if it's that same bear I met when I was exploring North to Yakyakistan! Sounds like he would make for an interesting friend. Probably the life of the party!" She grinned, clapping her hooves together as the performance had come to a close.

She was about to take a bit of her popcorn, but noticed that her popcorn bucket was empty. "Awwww. I guess that means I have to get more popcorn, but first!" She zipped up onto the stage as @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny and Croissanto had made their exit. "Give it up for Shiny and Croissanto, everypony! Weren't those two just a riot!? My sides still hurt from their nonstop puns! Wasn't that just funny, or should I say punny?" She giggled with a wink, before catching the clipboard as it fell out of her mane. "We already have a strong start and we still have many more contestants to go! So, let's not waste any time as we welcome our next contestant, @Wizard Titanium!" She and the crowd joined in a round of applause as Pinkie rushed to get more popcorn, before making her way backstage.

Getting behind the party cannon, Dynamo grinned as he pulled the string on top as batches of cake frosting had been launched. All the while, a light rain of cake frosting could be seen falling overhead where some audience members had some cake frosting on them. Many laughed, while some enjoyed the free treat of cake frosting. "Now that I've got eveypony all warmed up, I'd love to welcome you our host for tonight. She's your go to party pony, the mare extraordinaire, the super duper party pony and the queen of laughs! Give it up for....Pinkie Pie!"

As the announcement had been made, a giant cake had slowly been rolled from back stage to the center of the stage. At first, nothing had been happening. That was until the name 'Pinkie Pie' had been uttered, as well as the multiple nicknames that the pink party planning pony had been known for. The cake had begun to move, almost as if it was going to explode. Before anyone could react of question it, the cake had exploded. More and more frosting had been rained onto the crowd.

 

Titanium enjoyed the opening ceremony of the goof off, but before she could react, mountains of cake and frosting exploded into the crowd. Standing far too close to the stage, Titanium takes a direct hit of cake and frosting, knocking her off her hooves and lying in a mound of sweet confectionery. Rendered dazed and confused, she didn't move until after the performance of @Shiny Silvermoon

(OOC: I am still creating the images to go along with my performance, so I'll be splitting my performance up into pieces so as to get some crowd involvement.)

Titanium staggers on stage, cake and frosting still stuck to her coat in places. She stands before the crowd, still uneasy on her hooves, and addresses everypony. "Hello and welcome!... The cake is not part of my performance... *ehem* I will be performing a special show that involves painting! Before I begin, I will need somepony from the audience to help!" Titanium pauses, waiting for hooves to be raised, though, of course, the pony she wanted to pick on didn't have their hoof raised. "Uh... You there!" She points into the audience, one pony points to themselves. "Oh, no, the pony next to you!" The pony on the wrong side gets excited and points to themselves. "Uh... N-no, the... blue bat pony that I definitely have never met before and definitely does not know me at all!" (Psssst, @Nitobit that's you)

Titanium holds one hoof out towards Moonlight, a single sweat drop slides down her face. "Everypony! Please give it up for Moon- Uh, I mean, my new and totally randomly selected assistant!"
