Who among us is touring around on two wheels? Do you ride a motorcycle or scooter? Have you ever done so in the past? Do you want to try it in the future? What do you think of motorcycles or scooters in general? For those who currently ride a motorcycle or scooter, tell us about your bike; the pros, cons, experiences, and why you ride on two wheels instead of four. Show pics of you have ‘em.

I would love to drive a scooter or motorcycle, Dreamy. :rarity:

I'll get dressed in some cool clothes for driving around.

Me too. I've been watching some anime with motorcycle and scooter themes and I really want to try it out myself! The cool clothes are an added bonus! :raritystarry:

I mean I already dress like a biker lol. Just missing the motorcycle lol.

For me really it's just getting to the point where I can afford one with my current car payment and get the license. I'm more looking for one to cruise around on vs speeding around on. So I've been eyeing up Harleys. Specifically the Fat Boy Gray Ghost, Hydra-Glide Revival, Heritage Classic or the much cheaper Nightster special in black. I do like the Sportster S but I think that may be a little to wide for me.

I wouldn't mind having a scooter to get back and forth to work, I think it would be more economical than taking the car.

If I were to get a motorcycle I’d get a Honda NC750X because it has the best balance of speed, comfort, and the irresistible automatic transmission (which can be switched to manual as desired). It would be a nice match for my automanual car. If I were to get a scooter I’d go for a Honda Navi because they look great, they’re easy to ride, relatively inexpensive and the gas mileage is endless, like 95 mpg! The only drawback is the top speed of 55mph. That’s why I lean toward the full sized cycle, which has a top speed of 125mph. On a bike 65mph feels like 100, so I’d have the thrill of speed, which I love. The scooter, even at 55mph (max) isn’t quite enough to give me that pulse of zooming down the road. For me, the whole point of a cycle is the thrill of high speed and feeling the acceleration…and the gas mileage doesn’t hurt anything either.

  • 2 weeks later...

It's cars for me only, a motorcycle would be great and all, but my mom never liked the idea of me on one, slightly more dangerous than being inside a car, so I better roll with it.
