I'm very much an introvert myself, I don't have many friends and feel uncomfortable in large crowds.

Also here's an interesting image:

I ended up getting Twilight Sparkle, which isn't all too surprising.

ONE

THREE

FOUR

FIVE only b/c there's nothing to do in Oxford. And the people are stupid...

Yes, I am an introvert and can relate to the points made in the OP. I always wondered why people think its weird that I'm quiet. I don't think it ever occurred to them that I have nothing of interest to say therefore I have no reason to talk.

In my experience most people who frequent internet forums (or at least ones with any idea of what's going on) are introverts. Guess it's just our nature to flock to these things. :P

If I had to wager a guess based off of my own experiences, I'd say its because things like forums and emails allow one to think about their response and craft one accordingly rather than have to improv on the spot. Then again, I've always preferred asynchronous uninterruptible forms of communication over synchronous interrupt based counterparts.

In other words, anyone else hate the telephone?

I can neither confirm nor deny myself being the cause of electrical related malfunctions. Anyways, you wouldn't happen to have a jar of replacement magic smoke would you?

Well, this is me in a nutshell.

One has to take in consideration that this really all varies person to person. People, and life in general, are often times too complicated to accurately catalog mentally. That's just my view though :D

Edit2:... I just couldn't resist editing... Always, Always end up with more than I planned, but I always expect there to be more. There is always Another possibility. There are more possibilities than there are "things" in this world times infinity. For some it makes it easier to think in a different scale, but I.. I just want to think about Every possible scale. Every scale of infinity. It's all worth to think about to me

Ok... this time I'll really post something.

I've been typing things for literally half an hour here and just ended up deleting it all. It's just way hard for me to keep things short and in my mind "worth" posting

... Just a quick thought here that applies to this post I guess. I try to wonder how many people think or type their posts but never end up posting.

Saying 'introvert' to others, trying to explain things help. Every point in that list applied to me. But of course, like said, Different like it's different for every person here.

Here I thought I'd keep this one short, but it's ending up long already... though still a lot shorter then what I typed half an hour ago... I'll cut it off here and just post it... with blind eyes... if you read this, my nerves let their guard down.

Edit: It's also to see those awful myths are properly explained. Quick something that applies to this. That outlet which is mentioned in the "loner" myth. Yes I'm alone, I like it that way, but like stated, I really need an outlet at times. These forums are not the best way to get a response (that I want in my mind) but... it gets my thoughts out there! it's something. even though I'm forcing myself, since it's a ... public way. the wonderful interwebz make it that much easier.

and I always preferred indirect communication

There is already a topic like this, but contains another term, extroversion. As such, I've changed the topic title to make it better suited for a discussion about introversion.
