To be honest, they'll probably just cater to the younger audience with their game rather than the adult audience but hey! you never know, right?

While I was hoping it'd be somepony like Activision (who is really good at making Hasbro games), I'm still really excited, considering it is one of the kings of mobile device gaming. I love Gameloft's titles to death, and I really hope....heck I know that this'll be the great revelation! Let's see how the very first MLP:FiM video game turns out!!!!

What? I don't think so. The only thing they have a problem with is adding multiplayer to their games and general bug fixes, but I would say that their games have an overall quality that most studios can't match.

 

The simple fact that they have derpy hooves on their blog post gives me hope that they know who their real target group is ;P

Hopefully it's good. Gameloft can make some decent games, and hopefully they won't be aimed towards little kids like that Twilight Sparkle app is (not Gameloft, I know)

What -I- want is for them to make the storybooks they made for the stupid IOS on the Android. I hope they don't blow this opportunity, and I hope they have paid AND free versions with ads. I'd be interested to see what they do with it. Hopefully they don't do something childish and kitchy, but something neat and fun for all ages to enjoy.

Now we can finnaly play ponies on the go. I'm excited, I've been a fan of Gameloft games, particularly Asphalt. Although I have had some freezing and crashing problems with there games but that's probably because I've got over 50 apps on my iPod

Y'know.....why not make them for consoles as well as retail? Recently they have made games for devices other then mobile app-playing phones, and they've also been switching to physical retail versions of their games....so why not make it for the 3DS, Wii, PS3, etc.?

It wouldn't be benificial enough for Microsoft and Sony because they wouldn't have enough potential consumers. Nintendo on the otherhand probably would. Then again Microsoft and Sony could simply make them arcade games instead of a full game with a disc and all.

i just want Gameloft to think about the bronies when developing The My Little Pony game, and not to make a game just to the "intended" audience. Hasbro is well aware of the the real fans of MLP, so that should be put into consideration for the game. Putting that aside, i'm sooooo excited about this!!!

God I hope it is both good for the younger audience and the bronies maintaining a perfect balance between the two. Im asking nothing more than that. But sounds really cool!
