Oh good, its actually some alright press instead of the usual slander Fox spouts out.

I'm glad that they got some actual comments from Faust and people at Bronycon instead of just asking random people what they would think. It allows us to get ourselves heard instead of allowing others to just laugh at us and discriminate against us.

Basically, GO YAHOO!

It would have been better if they posted a G4 image with the article rather than one from a earlier generation

Regardless, the article itself is the same one posted on a few other websites and I am glad that it talks of us positively :)

My mom pointed this out to me yesterday xP She was like 'hey, there's an article on Yahoo about the pony show! Some gathering?'

'It's called Bronycon, mom.'

'Oh, cool. Well there's a lot of neat looking costumes people have. Even one for Discord, and Rainbow Dash.'

'I know  '

It's good to see the negative social stigma surrounding bronies being at least somewhat cleared up by this article. I really don't care if people think bronies are weird, just so long as they don't label them pedophiles or the like.

Also:

"It was just over a year ago when BronyCon attracted about 100 people to some meeting rooms in New York City. Now there are thousands of Bronies across the country."

Only thousands? We need more recruits!

Skimmed through the article, then quickly scrolled right down to the comments to see what the trolls posted. To my surprise a lot of the people seemed to actually be posting smartly. Awesome! :D

It's ironic how I fall just to get back up again...

The only thing I fear about rising popularity of MLP is that it would someday come to point when it would be cosidered ,,cool" by majority of society. Because I fear that at that point the quality of our nice herd would drop a bit.

Because, nowaday's I can hardly see a hater in the herd. Haters just tend not to get over the ,,it's a show for little girls I don't wanna watch it" thing, and therefore they don't usually become bronies...

But leave dark prophetcyes to grimdark fanfic authors, lets celebrate instead :3.

I was probably the first here to notice that (Status-wise), and I was surprised that they got the image sorta accurate (G4 Scootaloo plushie). Unfortunately, I came back to Yahoo! only to see that it changed to a G3/2/1 image, but whatever. Bronies getting featured on Yahoo's! news roundabout on home page is impressive :).

Brushing your hair is for people who care and someone who cares is not I, I'll jump off a bridge and then fill up your fridge,

Makes me glad to see the article is in a positive light.

"I understand this to some degree. I mean, I'm no brony. But it does seem that people are putting more effort into kids shows nowadays, and there are even some I really like (I'll go out of my way to watch spongebob, for example). Sometimes very light entertainment is just what the doctor ordered, especially when the stresses of life seem insurmountable. It is wonderful to feel innocent and clean again."

The fact that there are non-fans who are understanding like this is also great to see. Hard to believe that there's a Yahoo comments section that ISN'T filled to the brim with idiocy!
