Blaze was impressed by Carrick's interrogation techniques and detective work. If he had to guess, Carrick was as proficient with detective work as Blaze is with his magic, it almost seemed like his talent flowed from inside as smooth and simple as if it took no effort at all. All in all Blaze enjoyed the interrogation and was anxious to see what happens next.

 

(OOC: sorry my acute dyslexia sometimes gets the best of me. My subconscious tends to substitute letters just becuase it makes more sense my way. I will be sure to remember MaL.)

Carrick shook his head, "No, I'm telling the truth. You're hiding Twilight Sparkle. It makes sense, one the most powerful magic users in all of Equestria. Why not take her for your plans?"

"I have proof, it's your face. You're a bad liar."

 

Snow said nothing she had been quiet for a few seconds. Her demeanor of anger slowly dried off. She gave a soft laugh, "you're a smart detective, Carrick. However, you won't be able to find her."

 

Carrick shook his head, "Trust me, she isn't that far. If you were here to guard her than she's close by."

 

"No, she isn't. Wait!" Snow was getting rattled.

 

"Oh?," Carrick saw something, "So there are others here too? I guess that's excepted, he did steal her and the other five ponies. Now the question is why did he do it?"

 

"I-i-i-i-i! I'M NOT TELLING YOU!" She screamed on top of her lungs, "I will not be defeated by the likes of you!"

 

"Pffft. Fine, let's move on. I have a question for you."

 

"I'm not going to answer it."

 

"Is Ice Star in this mountain?"

"What does he have? Why do you this? Why do you want to help him, this monster? What will he do?"

"SCREW YOU!!!!!!" Snow's went for use all her muscles to jump at him....but instead fell down on the floor.

 

"I think I found it." Carrick pulled her back up, being a bit careful not to get bitten by her.

"Power...he gives you power. He's given the magic powers to kill anypony....except you still couldn't kill a earth pony."

"You couldn't kill a pony who couldn't do magic. It boils your blood right now, you can't even give off that sarcastic tone when we first met. Instead, anger is all you have."

"Come on. Say it! You know you want to. You want to kill me. Right here, right now because you know why? You want to be feel powerful...you see me fearing for my life. You thirst for it! You thirst for everypony in this room to die! Say it!"

 

"FINE! I WANT YOU ALL DEAD! YOU HAPPY? I want ICE STAR to reign vengeance upon everypony! I WANT HIM TO KILL ALL OF YOU! I WANT TO SEE IT AS HIS WIFE!" Snow was breathing hard, all of her rage was on this pony. She wanted him to suffer....her real intentions were out in the open.

 

"Than you want Ice Star to come right here and kill us? Would you love that?"

 

"I would love it!! He'll end you! If not him, the others will! YOU WON'T GET TWILIGHT SPARKLE! She will be the catalyst!" She started to laugh uncontrollable. She started spouting words like catalyst and the quote on her back. She continued to do so. She has officially gone off the deep end.

 

Carrick wrote down what she had said, "That's probably all we're going to get from her."

"Impressive, that was amazing Carrick." Said Starbolt awestruck by how he handled the situation.

'Carrick sure knows how to get ponies to talk.' She thought as she looked down at Snow who was now a broken insane wreck.

Ponyborn woke with a jump at the start of the screaming. He quickly decided that while they interrogated Snow he wouldn't be getting any sleep, he would help but he was sure that Blaze had seen him walk in by the look on his face before he had turned into the hallway. So he went to the bathroom to splash water on his face, while he was there he rummaged through some cabinets and opened a larger cabinet on the wall. There was no shelves in that cabinet , but a door that was very much locked, in fact there was no door handle so it must have been a door for a mage. He walked out into the front room right as Carrick accused Snow of hiding Twilight Sparkle in the house, and when he saw her face he knew what was behind that door.

 

When Carrick was done Ponyborn walked up to the group with his back to Snow. "Guys i found some sort of mages door in the bathroom cabinet." He said "Maybe we should go and check it out?" He offered.

"Wonder what's behind it, but we better leave somepony here to watch over Snow while we investigate." Said Starbolt knowing that Snow might try to do something if left alone.

'Mage's door, interesting.' She thought wanting to see what's behind it.

"I can watch, her. Shouldn't be too much trouble." Thunder offered from the couch where he was currently resting. "After all, she moves I throw one of these at her," he said as he held up an MP potion he had made into a bomb.

"Thanks, Starbolt." Carrick adjusted his fedora like he always does out of a victory. Carrick than turned to hear that Ponyborn found some sort of Mage door. Mage door? Hmm. Mage doors are a rare spectacle to find. He wasn't sure if he would find anything too crazy, if there was a pony in there, than he/she could be dead in there. Hopefully, that isn't a case. Somepony already found a dead pony in this cabin, he rather not find two.

 

Thunder recommend himself to stay here and keep Snow company so she doesn't do anything bad. It shouldn't be too much of a problem since she tied up on all hooves and horn. Precaution are necessary, regardless. "Very well, Thunder. Try not to do anything too rash, she's a bit...unstable" Carrick said, as he waited for a unicorn or alicorn to open this contraption.

"Alright i know how to open these doors just stand back." Said Ponyborn as he approached the door. He concentrated on its inner workings so he could find the spell to open the door. "O dear, this door is not getting open anytime soon. It wont matter how strong all of our magic combined is, the spell would kill us all without more help. The spell we would need to cast is one that brings the dead fully back to life." Ponyborn said with a grim look.

Blaze had been following the other ponies as they approached the mage door, Blaze heard Ponyborn explain that they would not be able to open the door because a spell to raise the dead would be required. "Stand back, I need to concentrate" Blaze said as he approached the door, he put a hoof up to the door and closed his eyes, the residual magic waves inside the door created a picture in Blaze's mind. A small room no bigger than a closet, there were some shelves, stocked with various potions but it was impossible to know what the potions were with just magic sense. But then he sensed it, a small... what looked like a filly gagged and bound. Blaze gasped out loud "There is a pony behind this door, but something tells me she isnt the pony we are looking for. She is still alive from what I can tell. We need to open this door somehow." Blaze explained

Carrick rubbed his chin, a S class magic spell to open a door? Such an odd phenomenon. Not to mention a spell that can rise up the dead.

 

"I think the only pony who would be able to do such a spell would be Snow over there. A pupil of the Ice Star probably knows such a spell." Carrick looked back as he saw the pony still talking crazy. He really broke her down bad.

 

"Maybe we have to use that spell for her memories after all. Not sure who or what pony is there, but I think the pony there because he/she consented to it."

"In theory I could use a raise dead spell, but it is against my morals. I wont use illegal S class spells just to open a door. But I do have an idea. Daeva has demon energy, demon energy has been used in the past to raise the dead. Maybe if she charged it with enough D-E she could open the door." Blaze guessed.

"Illegal S class?"Blaze said "There are rules to magic, You cannot use S class magic to control free will, reanimate the dead, or murder the living. Those are the rules to S class magic. Something just doesn't sit right with me though, when learning S class magic, the fastest way is to learn from someone else who already knows the spell. I think we should pay this trixie a visit, I have a feeling she had a mentor and I want to know who it is." Blaze said.

Daeva walked through the Mage Door and overheard them talking about her and her demonic powers, something about raising the dead.

 

"I don't think I know how to do that, I can only do simple blasts and I have been training secretly whenever I have the time but if I am ever going to learn spells that the demons use it's from another demon which I doubt there are, though I can try if I must but everypony would have to stand back before I accidentally kill all of you."

 

She went over and looked at the door, touching it with her hooves and giving it a smell sniff.

 

"Can't I just attempt to blow the whole door off with a huge blast? Is it too dangerous for the pony behind it?"

"NO! Daeva that room is no more than a closet. If you blasted it in any way shape or form it might harm the filly behind it" Blaze said concerned that she would just go ahead and blow it anyway. "Just try to use your demon powers to open it." Blaze said.

"I understand, what is this door made out of anyway? Do I really have to try to raise the dead to open this thing? Who in the hoof would design something that only a rising of the dead spell can open?"

 

"Anyway, enough talking.." she said as she tried to concentrate, thinking about rising the dead.. She pointed her hooves at the door and green lights started to slowly flow out of her hands.. After a few seconds the green lights flew over to the door and unlocked it.

 

"I suppose it wasn't that hard.." she mumbled as she went over and slowly opened it..

"Simply amazing" Blaze said stunned. 'I knew that Demonic magic has been used to raise the dead, even so she did it with no problem' Blaze was awestruck "Just how powerful of a pony are you?" Blaze asked rhetorically.

The door slowly opened revealing a filly no older than 12...

Daeva stopped opening the door and turned around and faced Blaze.

 

"I'm not sure, but I know I have power within me." she said as she blushed at him.

 

"You gave me confidence Blaze, if you weren't here then I would never had made it.. Thanks." she went over and snuggled him in his neck and smiled.

Blaze blushed a bit, and then returned the embrace, "You are very much so welcome" the hug lasted a minute or two but then realizing that the others were staring at them they broke the embrace. Carrick blinked at the loving moment, Oh love. Such an odd thing.

How long has it been? Days? Weeks? Months? It feels like months. That incident that had plagued her mind for the longest time. Empty sounds and darkness that surrounds her has been here for too long. She has cried for so long, she couldn't do it anymore. The incident kept playing over in her head, that's all she could do.

 

"No! Rarity! Don't-" A strong force came upon her back as she fell down in her sister's house. She kept playing in her head what could of have been different. Maybe she could stay with Applebloom or Scootaloo and than found a rescue team to help her. Maybe she could of told him who did this. Who did this to her and Rarity. Instead, she has been stuck in a dark room....no place to move, just stuck with the thoughts on her mind. That's all she could think of.

 

Suddenly the sounds came from outside, the smell of musky air felt inviting to her. A different feeling, fear came upon her. She didn't know who it was. For a while now, she had already embrace the grim reaper and hoped he would come soon...was is time? Was it time for the darkness to disappear and go somewhere else?

 

"I-i-is anypony there?"

The door opened, Blaze spotted a little white filly with fluffy dark purple and light purple hair. She had scratch marks and she was very dirty. "I-i-is anypony there?" she said. "Calm down young one." Blaze said in a very soothing voice "We are not here to harm you, we are here to help"

"You look cute, what's your name? My name's Daeva and we're all friendly." she said as she gave Carrick and Blaze a look.

 

"We don't know who this filly is, she might be dangerous." said Daeva as she started to sense something radiating out of that pony..

Her presence really didn't give off a bad vibe, all it really gave was fear. Fear of being in a place for such a long time. Maybe it's because of his manners he had learn in such a long time. Always be nice to youngins. However, his instincts are telling him otherwise. "I'm not sure, Daeva." Carrick went and untie her bandana that was on her eyes.

 

Slowly the light came back! Such an amazing feeling. To see again. To see all the vibrant colors, her eyes were still barely open. Her pupils where huge from the lack of light in that door. The soothing voices let her mind slowly go into ease. She softly blush from that cute comment. "I'm Sweetie Belle, w-what are you doing here?."

 

Carrick went and laid on the floor, going down to her level. "We're here to take you back home." Carrick said with a smile.

 

"R-really?" Sweetie Belle couldn't believe it. This pony...is not the reaper...the exact opposite. Could it be true.

 

Carrick nodded, "Yes, those nasty ponies won't get to you no more."

 

Tears appear in her eyes, she went and held onto Carrick as she kept thanking him...
