Fae hovered behind Wings with a spell ready just in case he attacks or does anything aggressive.

'I'm glad it wasn't Carrick that kissed him.' She thought.

Daeva was speechless after they kissed each other for a few seconds, then she heard that Wings wanted to go someplace else instead of the forest.

 

"Let's go back to the cabin, shall we?" she asked everypony.

((OOC: LOL, What the hell ninja? You certainly got a weird definition of a plot twist, I log on this morning and I see this.))

 

Blaze was sleeping under the tree. He couldn't be sure but he felt like Daeva had said something to him, whispered in his ear.

Blaze fell into another dream state.

Blaze was sitting in a leather chair, Blaze knew this place was familiar, and he remembered this was the large office room in his aunts manor. The door opened to the office and a pony entered. Blaze swiveled his chair around to see Hypno enter.

"I assumed you finally found something, figured out the layout of the tower?" Blaze said

"Look, astral projection takes a lot of work and time." Hypno said. "But I did see something, something urgent, a Mantygre was in a oasis, he was doing something it looked important, so I got closer, he was kidnapping Starbolt" Hypno finished

"Starbolt... so she figured it out." Blaze opened his window, a moment later a medium sized phoenix landed on the windowsill.

Blaze attatched a letter to the phoenix's leg. "Yuki, I am counting on you to deliver this to Daeva, it simply says that we found Starbolt and that she can stop looking." The bird cooed a bit and then lifted off.

 

Blaze woke up. Another dream? These dreams seem connected, they both have the matygre in it. And if there was an oasis that must mean he was in the desert. Blaze got up and out from under the tree, he stretched and popped his back and wings. He headed back to the cabin only to see that everyone accept Snow was absent from the Cabin. "Hey Snow, do you know where the others went?" Blaze asked.

Thunder gave his lips one last wipe before following behind everyone else. "Thank me later," he told Carrick before taking flight and heading straight into the sky. 'That was kind of embarrassing, but nothing I haven't done before.' He thought.

"They went into the forest, Carrick said they found a pony in there." Snow said.

 

Carrick nodded to her, "It would've be...different." Carrick said to Starbolt. He nods to Daeva suggestion, "Probably the best idea. Let's go, everypony." Carrick went to the cabin. I can't believe I almost kiss a stallion. It feels surreal. I wonder what it would feel like to kiss Star-, Carrick mentally shook himself. Not now, we have a case to deal with. Carrick continued onward as they reach the forest exit and the cabin comes into vision...

Once the cabin was in sight Daeva flew over and saw Blaze, she went inside and gave him a hug.

 

"I missed you Blaze, how's your horn doing?" she asked as she looked at him.

Blaze stepped out of the cabin and noticed that the other ponies were heading back to the cabin. "Hey guys, wait who is that" he asked pointing at the extra pony in the group. "Are we taking in every stray that finds his or her way to this cabin now?" Blaze joked. "Oh, I do have some good news" Blaze said to Daeva "I was trying to train myself to use magic again, and my horn gave off a spark. It is not much but it proves my horn is still connected, meaning eventually I will be able to cast magic again." Blaze said.

"Well, we are a big giant family, aren't we?" Carrick joked back. Trying to lighten his mood up, Wings popped in to see Blaze.

 

"My, my there are certainly a decent amount of stallions around here." Wings commented, the guitar strapped on his back.

 

"Blaze, this is Wings." Wings smiled at Blaze as he gave hoof to shake, "It's pleasure to meet you Blaze Phoenixtear." Wings said, already knowing who this pony was.

For some reason Blaze felt a really weird vibe from this guy, and it wasn't just because he kept on giving Blaze a longing stare. Blaze shuddered. "Uh... yeah, not too much of a pleasure I hope" Blaze walked over to Daeva, and whispered to her "I have been around enough nobles to know when someone is homosexual or not... I am totally getting the homosexual vibe from this guy"

Wings smiled at him as he trotted off into the cabin. Carrick blinked, it made him realize something. "Starbolt, when I'm done talking to Wings. I'll like to have a word with you." Carrick said as he went inside the cabin. He needed to see what is going to happen....

'Did I do something wrong?' She thought to herself worried.

'Hey Starbolt just relax I'm sure it's nothing.' Fae told her.

Carrick grabbed his notepad from the table, he took the pencil from his pocket as he sat in front of Wings. Snow stared at Wings with discontent. She didn't like this, not one bit, but her inability to do magic and the overwhelming manpower just made he watched this interrogation in anger.

 

"Well, Wings. You know what you're doing?"

 

Wings blinked at him, "Of course I do. I'm probably going to be in big trouble when spilled the beans about what I know. I'm willing to take those risk. Even without my wings, If I need to go solo, I can just go hidden."

 

Carrick was curious, out of the ponies that associated with Ice Star. They usually were brainwashed or followed Ice Star to his goal. Why this one? "Why are you doing this?"

 

"I've never really like his goal. I only came there to protect my sister. She can be a reckless one. Celestia rest her soul. " Carrick didn't push it any further. She probably die in the line of duty.

 

"Well than, Wings O'Malley. Do you know anything about a vile?"

 

"Nope."

 

"Huh, okay. Do you know anything about Twilight Sparkle?"

 

"Nope."

 

Carrick blinked, was all of us this in vain? It isn't even close to assume that, keep asking.

 

"Hm, can you tell us about your division?"

 

"The division was are acted upon as soldiers. Usually one of the generals would be assigned to us. In most cases, we were sent to one particular pony since most of the generals stay hidden."

 

"Which general would sent by?"

 

"That pony who has no name." Wings said.

 

"Hmm, do you know where his main headquarters is?"

 

"Well, I haven't been there myself, but If I'm not mistaken it's the heart of Fillydelphia."

 

"Fillydelphia? I wouldn't except a general to work in a major city."

 

"He can be very discreet with his work."

 

"Is there anything else you know?":

 

"Sorry, I'm just a solider. I didn't get much information. I just had orders in which I followed'em."

 

"It's fine....you gave me something. Thank you."

 

"I know a good way of you thanking me."

 

Carrick blinked as he ignored his advance, "Anyway. Looks like this case isn't dead just yet." Carrick nodded. "We have a location, it isn't too much, but it's better than nothing. We'll leave in a hour. So, whatever you ponies have to do, do'em." Carrick turned to Starbolt, "Starbolt, meet me in the bedroom." Carrick walked out of the scene. He went inside the bedroom as he felt satisfied. There was a location! A location!

 

He took a deep breath and calmed himself, there was something he needed to take care of before this case continues...

Daeva giggled at what Blaze said about Wings being a complete homosexual and she didn't want him to be hanging around a homosexual now would she?

 

"I think it would be best to stay away from him, I wouldn't want a special somepony becoming one of them." she joked.

"Now, now. If I have learned anything from all of the science classes, and the science association I joined when I was in college, it is that you are born that way and do not have a choice. I was obviously born hetero so I like mares, not colts. This colt was born liking other colts." Blaze explained. "Although they still creep me out. Especially when he gives that longing stare that he does." Blaze shuddered.

 

"OOOOOOO," Blaze dropped his voice down low to sound a bit like Carrick, he turned to Daeva and started mimicking Carrick " Starbolt meet me in the bedroom. Maybe you can let me... examine your evidence, if you know what I mean" Blaze said laughing.

Starbolt went up to the bedroom.

Fae followed her but was stopped.

"Fae, stay here." Starbolt told her in a serious tone.

'Okay.' Fae responded knowing Starbolt was not in the mood for jokes.

Starbolt opened the door and stepped inside. "Yes Carrick?" She asked him.

Was Carrick going to make out with Starbolt? Is she ready for such thing? Daeva was curious about what was going to happen but she couldn't just barge in like that.

 

She laughed at Blaze's sexual joke and gave Blaze an adorable look.

Carrick looked at Starbolt. He smiled at her, his heart was beating fast. A feeling he hasn't had in quite a while. "You know, Starbolt. It really has been an odd turn of events. When we first met, you were trying to stop us from a jail-break." Carrick said.

 

"And now, you're here. Trying to help us and defeat this...Ice Star." Carrick got closer to her. "I'm happy that you're part of this team."

Carrick chuckled, she was obvious nervous. Her blushing, her stuttering. "You're also a wonderful mare. You're caring, smart, and beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful mare than you." Carrick said. He felt surprised he said that, he did believe his words. He just thought he would never said that to any mare.

Starbolt blushed even more. "Really?" She asked smiling him flattered by his words.

Starbolt walked a little closer still unsure of what to do.

Carrick stepped closer to her, "Really. I'm not a big fan of lying." Carrick said, noting his situation for Daeava for a split-second than back her. "Starbolt, I like you. I like you a lot." Carrick went in and kissed her. All of his feelings pour on her. Touching her soft lips made time stop once again. The warm feeling came back once again, but even harder. He could of just stood there and kissed her all day.

Starbolt kissed him back and embraced him. (Fell asleep at this part.)

"I love you Carrick." She whispered to him as she kissed him again.

He made all her worries about Ice Star her magic the elements of harmony fade away as the embraced each other.

" I bet right about now... carrick is swabbing Starbolt for DNA" This time Blaze laughed so hard he fell to the ground. he began rolling on the floor laughing his flank off. Apparently Blaze thought he was hilarious.

Those three words. Carrick thought into his head. They were big, very big for Carrick. He's never said them to anypony. Carrick felt a little hesitant when she said that. A spur of the moment, "I love you, too." Carrick embraced her tightly as his lips connected her once again. He slowly pulled her down to the bed still holding the kiss. His tongue touch her lips, hoping to be invited into her mouth.
