She felt Carrick's warm body against hers and she fully let herself be embraced by him.

Carrick brush the tongue upon her, as he deepen the kiss. She tasted like apples, something Carrick really enjoyed. Carrick slowly pulled away. He didn't feel that it was time to do the special act. He smiled at her as he formal asked, "Starbolt, would you give me the honor of being my marefriend?"

She felt happy.

Several of the lamps and pillows started to levitate, Starbolt realized she was levitating them so she set them down gently.

"Looks like I got my magic back." She said smiling.

Hypno slowly woke up, he had fallen asleep randomly after talking to Snow. He woke up with a slight grumble "What i miss when i was out?" he asked as he looked around the cabin to see if anypony was still there.

Daeva saw Hypno waking up beside Snow, she heard him asking what he missed out when he was out.

 

"You didn't miss anything except that Carrick & Starbolt are now making love right now." she said as she gave him a chuckle.

"Oh, well, that's cool" Hypno said laughing. "So, what have you all been up to then? Just waiting for him to make the next big decision as to where we are heading after we get ready?" He asked Daeva.

"I have been making situational puns about Carrick and Starbolt having relations, hey do you think he will put on gloves before handling her evidence?" Blaze said laughing again. There had to be some form of comedic relief or Blaze just might go insane.

Thunder heard Starbolt yell yes and suppressed a giggle as he walked upstairs to where Trixie was. "Hey Trixie, you doing ok, is your magic back fully?" He asked with concern as he wrapped his hoof around her shoulder.

"It's getting quite boring if you ask me Hypno, they've been in that room for a long time and I've been hearing rather interesting sounds coming out of that room they're in if you know what I mean." she joked around as she sat on the couch that was located at the side of the room.

"Well, that's just damn skippy now isn't it." Hypno said as he sighed, knowing that this was going to take a while. Although in some ways in made him jealous. He sat back a bit, resting himself.

She didn't have much to do or say so she decided to start a conversation with Hypno.

 

"I want to be able to control the power within me, use it to my advantage to do good instead of just wrecking havoc whenever I become possessed by the demon." she told Hypno.

Carrick closed the door from the bedroom. Starbolt was sound asleep, Carrick sighed. Carrick and Starbolt were playing around with her magic. It got a bit, loud. It some way, Carrick wanted to avoid jumping into bed with her, A gentlecolt must be patience, I rather not jump into bed just yet. I want to be sure about my emotions. Carrick got mentally slapped in his face, but I just said I love you to her....geez, emotions. You're always so damn conflicting. Ugh, I'll reassess later. Right now, let her rest. Carrick got out of the room to see the group talking. "Hey, everypony. Are you ponies ready to leave soon?" Carrick asked.

Hypno was about to answer, but then Carrick walked in. "I guess so, what are we going to do first then?" he asked, then turned to Snow "Are you ready to leave her too?" He whispered to her quietly.

"We're going to Fillydelphia. Wings said that's where one of the general is. It's probably a biggest and only lead we have, plus I'll be able to plan an attack instead of what happened in that cave." Carrick said, "You coming Wings?"

 

"Sorry, cutie. But, I'm going to have decline. I just want to finish my life in peace. I've had a long life of fighting, it's time to call it in."

 

"Are you sure?"

 

Wings nods, "I'm sure, thank you though."

 

Snow looked at Hypno, than looked at the floor. She didn't want to leave, but...Hypno. You're my only friend here....Snow nods, "I'll go with you, Hypno." She said.

Blaze had the biggest cheezy grin on, he actually giggled a bit "Who's the one who is in lust now?" Blaze said laughing at the irony of the whole situation. "I guess no one, not even Carrick is immune to emotions" Blaze said with a playful punch to Carricks shoulder.

Daeva looked at Blaze, pulled him away from Carrick and told him "Carrick said that our love was lust because he knows that our love is stronger than his, he was jealous of our love and now he's making a move on Starbolt just to get revenge on us. He thinks his love between Starbolt and himself is true and that our love is just simply lust but he's wrong." she told him softly without letting other ponies hear what she just said.

Hypno gave a smile "Alright, do you need to take anything with you? Pack anything of the sort?" he asked her kindly. He was glad his friend was coming with. And he wondered what could happen to his mind if she didn't. He felt as if she was keeping him sane most of the time he had spent here.

Carrick shook his head, "If you're referring me doing that, I didn't do it. Everything was happening so fast. I needed to make a decision before I plan or acted upon it." Carrick said. Still, I almost did it. I've used my emotions to do what I did. She's my marefriend now.

 

Carrick heard Daeva's words. "This again? Maybe if you didn't leave than when I wanted to explain than you would of heard this:

 

Carrick shook his head, "Neither, I think I should of been a bit more clearer in what I said. Lust is a emotional feeling of great intensity. We all get some form of lust when we start a relationship. However, if it's just purely lust than it becomes a problem. What I really meant to say about it was that you like him more than a friend, but you also have some lust for him. " Carrick explained.

 

"Whatever you believe if your love is better than ours. Go right ahead, but it does make you look arrogant." Carrick said.

Blaze thought about what Daeva said for a moment, It could very well be true, but I suppose we should just leave the past behind us Blaze thought.

"Hmm... well that is all in our past, at least we know he will never say anything about our relationship again without sounding like a hypocrite" Blaze whispered back

"Now, now. Love is not a thing that can be measured, so one love cannot simply be greater than anothers, and no one was claiming other wise." Blaze said out loud

"All I really have is the clothes on my back, I don't need to pack." Snow said, referring the hood she's still wears. The hood that symbolized her into one of Ice Star's allies, she's not ready to take it off. I don't think I'll ever take it off, Snow thought to herself.

"Oh okay" Hypno said. He hadn't commented on the hood yet. He actually had no idea what it even meant yet really. "We'll just wait until they're ready then" He chuckled as he listened in to Carrick and Daeva's argument.

Thunder came downstairs grumbling at Carrick's call. "Am I the only one who doesn't get to spend alone time with his mare without you bunch ordering a dangerous or mentally difficult mission?" he asked Carrick.

Daeva knew what she said was wrong so she said "I'm sorry about what I just said but if you weren't that nosy then you wouldn't even have to waste the time to say what you just said." before she told everypony "I don't think I have anything else to pack on the trip, Dante is carrying a decent amount of apples and food is all I need for now." as she went over to sit on the couch, waiting for everypony to get ready.

"Fate be one of a cruel mistress." Carrick said to Thunder. He turned to Daeva and Blaze, a trigger was pulled "You two seem to assume a lot. Instead of pushing my accusation. You both ran off without me giving some chance for explanation. You want to push now? Fine, I'll opened the damn gates." Carrick turned to Blaze.

 

"Blaze, I wonder something. Do you remember this:

 

"Well nevertheless you woke me from my slumber. I was having a perfectly good dream about..." Blaze started to blush "... well that doesnt really matter but it was a good dream." Blaze said

 

"From the conversation after, it was obvious not Daeva. Not tell me, who was that pony?" I wonder which pony you were talking about? Because I would love to know."

Blaze was trying to be as passive as possible, but it seemed to Blaze that Carrick was trying to push his buttons, and it worked. "YOU KNOW WHAT? I HAVE TRIED TO AGREE WITH YOU AND FOLLOW YOUR LEAD, I HAVE STUCK WITH THIS CASE FROM DAY ONE, AND SAVED EVERY SINGLE PONY'S LIFE FROM THE MAIN GROUP AT LEAST TWICE. AND YET I NEVER HEARD A THANK YOU, ALL I GET IS JUDGEMENT AND ACCUSATIONS. I TRY TO LEAVE WHAT IS IN THE PAST IN THE PAST BUT APPARENTLY SOMEPONY HAS TO OPEN A CAN OF WORMS. YOU KNOW WHAT CARRICK, BUCK YOU" Blaze yelled angrily.
